The month of January 2020 will go down in astrological history as a turning point in LGBT history ... when Saturn and Pluto were aligned in conjunction with the THE STAR OF ANTINOUS in Capricorn. This planetary configuration has not occurred for many centuries and certainly will not occur again during our lifetimes.

The conjunction of Saturn and Pluto with the Star of Antinous is unprecedented in modern times. Every Saturn-Pluto conjunction (or opposition) is historic. Looking back at previous cycles, we can see that a Saturn-Pluto conjunction occurred in October 1914, around the outbreak of World War I. In 1931, Saturn and Pluto formed an opposition in Capricorn and Cancer, defining an era that included the Great Depression.

The next Saturn-Pluto cycle commenced in 1947, soon after World War II ended; Germany and Japan lost military influence and dominance, and the power struggle between Capitalism and Communism gained greater intensity. Saturn and Pluto were in opposition in 1966, when the Vietnam War peaked, accentuating the division between the two blocs.

The following cycle of 1982 marked a time of economic recession in the world, with the highest rate of unemployment in the U.S. since the Great Depression. It also marked the escalation of the Cold War during the Reagan years, later leading to the collapse of the Soviet bloc.

The last time that Saturn and Pluto were in opposition was in the autumn of 2001 ... when the 9/11 terrorism attacks changed the world.

It is frankly difficult to predict how this Sun-Mercury-Saturn-Pluto alignment will be affected by the Star of Antinous ... because there are no historical documents in any astrological record for such a configuration. But we can be certain that tremendous forces are at play for LGBT rights.

And there is more ... Jupiter will catch up to and conjoin with Pluto and the Star of Antinous in April 2020, which adds more momentum and drama to these influences. The giant and the dwarf planets may seem quite different from each other, but both of them represent an aspiration for growth and prosperity. TIGER'S EYE FOR THE OBELISK MOON By Our Crystal Meditation Advisor Martin Campbell

TONIGHT's Aquarius New Moon is the OBELISK MOON of Antinous ... the lunar phase for focusing on education, learning and expression through writing.

I am an author of historical so the ability to research and get the correct facts about something are vital to me. So I am only going to recommend one crystal for this moon as it the one I know personally works wonders - Tiger's Eye.

Tiger's Eye is also my birth stone and one of my absolute favourites to work with.

If you have read the book then the final scene was guided to me by the Tiger's Eye pendulum as I asked it to give me answers about the site.

It was a lengthy process but revealed positions of things, the gender of people and what their roles were. Truly amazing!

THE AQUARIUS NEW MOON THE OBELISK MOON OF ANTINOUS

TONIGHT's Aquarius New Moon is always a special lunar occurrence. Not only is it Chinese New Year, it is also the ANTINOUS OBELISK MOON in Antinous Moon Magic.

The Aquarius New Moon is always the Chinese New Year, and it usually occurs near or on such festivals as Candlemas, Luminaria, Imbolc and Brighid's Day ... all festivals of shedding light on secrets, oracles (Groundhog Day), revealing secret knowledge, news, predictions.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Obelisk Moon is knowledge in all its forms, knowledge which is gained through study and learning.

This is the Spirit of education, training, schooling, apprenticeship and initiation into knowledge restricted to a few. In ancient times, knowledge of reading and writing was limited to a select few. Language was a matter of sacred symbols, thus the word "hieroglyphs" or "sacred writing" which was given to mortals by the scribe deity Thoth, whose sacred bird is the ibis.

The masses could not read hieroglyphs incised on an obelisk, thus the obelisk became a symbol of secret or arcane knowledge.

The Obelisk of Antinous, which now stands on the Pincian Hill in Rome, was incised with hieroglyphs which, in the 2nd Century AD, almost no one could read, not even Egyptians.

Tonight is a propitious time for setting a new course, possibly changing course, setting out in a new direction. It is about making a decision. The key is not to worry about which choice to make. The key is to make a choice and go ahead with it. 

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Crossroads Moon the decision-making capability of Antinous/Mercury. It is the spirit of making choices, weighing options and then choosing one. 

This Crossroads lunar spirit is the guardian at the crossroads who admonishes travelers not to dither nor tary, not to avoid making a decision. He is the guardian who presents travelers with alternatives. He does not care whether the right choice is made, but only insists that some choice is made. 

He personifies the roads, streets and highways in life, both literal and figurative. He also represents the network of veins and arteries in your body along which oxygen-enriched blood flows to every organ. 

And this spirit is the embodiment of any parting of the ways. He is the turning point and the divining rod who shows the way ahead.

AT this time of year people are focusing on resolutions for the new year. Good in some ways but we should, perhaps, consider making life changes at any time of year that feels appropriate, or in tune with the moon phase attributes that the sparkling Hernestus keeps us posted about. 

This year, however, it might be particularly good to set resolutions. 

This moon phase is the Crossroads moon so actually is perfect for making decisions for the future. To help you achieve this I would recommend meditations focusing on your resolution while holding or visualising your choice of (or combination of) the following crystals:

Amethyst -  These magical crystals are extremely powerful as a protective stone. They create higher states of consciousness and strongly enhance meditation. This wonderful crystal also helps the decision making process by enhancing common-sense and facilitating you to actually make the decision. 

Azeztulite - These were once very rare because it only comes from one US mine and the owner limited the supply. That has now changed so crystal stores do, now, often stock them. 

Many believe that these crystals only appear in one place because aliens placed them there to be found/used by humans who understood how crystals could be used to contact higher plains of existence. 

These crystals are certainly wonderful for connecting spiritually when decision making. They are, however, highly vibrational which means that new users may find it too powerful and feel overwhelmed, dizzy or sick using it at first. Once 'tuned in to them they are highly recommended for many states of mind.

This intense lunar phase may find you focused on emotions and visualising them in meditations or trances.

This planetary configuration has not occurred for many centuries and certainly will not occur again during our lifetimes.

TONIGHT's Invictus Moon phase can be characterised by being Indomitable, unbeatable, unconquerable and assertive.

2020 IS "THE YEAR OF THE MOON" WHEN ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD RULES

FROM an astrological viewpoint, the Year 2020 is "THE YEAR OF THE MOON" when the Moon rules the Zodiac, ushering in 12 months of soul-searching and swirling emotional undercurrents. While 2020 may not be as turbulent as recent years, things will be happening behind the scenes, on an Unconscious level, which will erupt to the surface in 2021, '22 and '23.

According to a rather obscure astrological text called the Galendarjum Oeconomicum Practicum Perpetuum, each year is ruled by a planet (Mars, Venus, etc.) and 2019 was the "The Year of Mercury." Now it's the Moon's turn.

The German alchemist and astrologer Dr. Mauritius Knauer devised this perpetual calendar based on planetary rulerships in the late 18th Century.

According to his calculations, the year 2020 is the "YEAR OF THE MOON" ... thus the Year of Antinous the Moon God. That means 2020 is a year of intense emotions, intuition, reflection, a year ruled by the Unconscious Mind.

The Ancient Priests of Antinous knew that zoning out for a few minutes allows your brain to tackle tasks it can't handle when you're busy. 

They called it the medium for Antinous to work miracles in your life.

In ancient times, Antinous was known as a miracle worker. His worshipers prayed to him for miracles, oracles, visions and answers to problems in their daily lives.

The Egyptian hieroglyphs on the OBELISK OF ANTINOUS state clearly that Antinous answers the prayers of all who call upon him through dreams and visions, for example.

The hieroglyphs also make cryptic references to his ability to work magic through his heart. This is a reference to the Ancient Egyptian concept of the "Intelligence of the Heart."

The Egyptians knew that the brain is the center of motor activity and sensory perception. 

But they believed the heart is the center of a form of intelligence which has baffled most mainstream Egyptologists ... who assume the Egyptians believed the heart was where cognitive thinking occurs.

But the Egyptians had a very different view of the universe from our rational, scientific view of the universe.

The Egyptians understood that if you want to find an intelligent solution to a problem, your brain can do the work. You have all the necessary intelligence inside the bone in your skull.

However, most people use their brains the same way they use their muscles. You can strain your head just as if it were a muscle, and work very hard trying to arrive at an answer, but it doesn't really work that way.

When you really want to find an answer to something, what you need to do is contemplate the problem. Visualize your question as well as you can, and then simply wait.

If you don't, and if you instead try to find the solution through brute mental strength, you may be disappointed, because any solution that comes in that way is likely to be wrong.

But when you have waited for a while, the solution will come of itself. That is what the Egyptians called the Intelligence of the Heart ... using your heart instead of your head.

It will work for you in the same way your stomach will digest your food for you without your having to supervise it consciously. Our attempts to supervise everything consciously have all led to consequences that aren't too good for our stomach, and the reason for that is quite simple.

Conscious attention, which employs words, cannot think of very much. We are forced, therefore, to ignore almost everything while we are thinking. We think along a single track, but the world doesn't proceed along a single track.

The world is everything happening altogether everywhere, and you just can't take all that into consideration because there isn't time.

However, the Intelligence of the Heart can take it all into consideration because it is capable of handling innumerable variables at once, even though your conscious attention cannot...
