ASTRO FORECAST: JANUARY 1st—12th, 2020

Antinous Astrology Forecast

JANUARY 1st to 12th, 2020

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 1st, 2020

To ring in the new year, Mercury aligns with Jupiter to signal a fortuitous start to 2020. Mercury conjunction Jupiter brings good news, optimism and a happy frame of mind. Fortune comes to many areas of life so this is an excellent time for work and play. You should feel broad-minded, generous and sociable.

This is the ideal time to start a new course of study and to sit exams. Journeys and holidays can be booked or started. Your enthusiasm and positive thinking mean that nearly anything you put your mind to will succeed.

Many ideas can come into your head so write them down. Social charm, tact, and diplomacy make this the right time to settle disputes between you and others, or between your friends or family. Buying and selling should turn a profit and you can negotiate a better deal in any area of life.

All kinds of business deals are favored so long as you remember to look at the fine print. You can see the bigger picture but may need assistance to check the smaller details. Keeping this in mind you can sign contracts with confidence.

Making plans for the future is favored but don’t forget to have some fun today. You would enjoy catching up for a chat with friends and making new friends will be easier because of your positive energy.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 2nd, 2020

Overnight Thursday-Friday we come to the Aries First Quarter Moon, which is the Lunar Phase we call the INVICTUS MOON ... the Antinous Moon Magic spirit of Mithras ... because this lunar phase always occurs in December or January near the Solstice Birthday of Mithras ... Invictus is the bold light that shines forth from a gay man's eyes to illuminate those around him. It is the warmth of your every being ... It is the optimism which brightens a dismal day when things are going wrong. Invictus is indomitable, unbeatable, unconquerable ... It is a determined spirit which never admits defeat, never gives up, never quits ... Invictus is a beacon which dispels darkness and casts out shadows ... In Antinous Moon Magic, tonight is an ideal time for meditation and rituals aimed at illuminating opaque situations or questions ... It is well-suited for planning assertive, goal-oriented action aimed at whole-heartedly positive results.

FRI-SUNDAY, JAN. 3rd-5th, 2020

The first weekend of 2020 hits with a bang when Mars enters fiery Sagittarius. For the next six weeks, the Martian energy will help you to discover new vistas in your love and sex life. You may even go somewhere you've never been before! This is one of best times of the year to be incredibly open-minded and experimental — just as the Sagittarius energy would have it. Sadge is also a very athletic sign, so you might find that your libido is strong enough that you don’t even need to hit the gym. If you're usually shy about asking your partner for what you want in bed, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore, because he or she is likely to be just as curious as you are. If you or your lover are Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) you'll feel this influence even more. Watch out, you could be too hot to handle.

MON-SATURDAY, JAN. 6th-11th, 2020

The second week of January 2020 will go down in astrological history as a turning point in LGBT history ... when a Lunar Eclipse occurred while the Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Pluto were aligned in conjunction with the THE STAR OF ANTINOUS in Capricorn. This planetary configuration has not occurred for many centuries and certainly will not occur again during our lifetimes.

First we have the Lunar Eclipse during the Cancer Full Moon, which is the lunar phase we call the LUNUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic — the Moon of Moons! This is a Full Moon which brings out powerful emotions. Because this Full Moon always occurs during December/January, it is emotional farewell to the old year and heart-felt welcoming of the new year. You will shed sentimental tears for loved ones you have lost during the past year, not to mention a job or other things you may have lost.

There was no Cancer Full Moon during 2019 ... there will be two Cancer Full Moons during 2020 ... one this week in January involving the Star of Antinous, and the other on December 29th at the end of 2020. The opening and closing of the year with a Cancer Full Moon is a tip-off that LGBT people and the rise of LGBT power will be highlighted from the beginning to the end of 2020. This "bookend effect" indicates that LGBT issues will be reach a defining turning point.

The conjunction of Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Pluto with the Star of Antinous is unprecedented in modern times. Every Saturn-Pluto conjunction (or opposition) is historic. Looking back at previous cycles, we can see that a Saturn-Pluto conjunction occurred in October 1914, around the outbreak of World War I. In 1931, Saturn and Pluto formed an opposition in Capricorn and Cancer, defining an era that included the Great Depression.

The next Saturn-Pluto cycle commenced in 1947, soon after World War II ended; Germany and Japan lost military influence and dominance, and the power struggle between Capitalism and Communism gained greater intensity. Saturn and Pluto were in opposition in 1966, when the Vietnam War peaked, accentuating the division between the two blocs.

The following cycle of 1982 marked a time of economic recession in the world, with the highest rate of unemployment in the U.S. since the Great Depression. It also marked the escalation of the Cold War during the Reagan years, later leading to the collapse of the Soviet bloc.

The last time that Saturn and Pluto were in opposition was in the autumn of 2001 ... when the 9/11 terrorism attacks changed the world.

It is frankly difficult to predict how this Sun-Mercury-Saturn-Pluto alignment will be affected by the Star of Antinous ... because there are no historical documents in any astrological record for such a configuration. But we can be certain that tremendous forces are at play for LGBT rights.

And there is more ... Jupiter will catch up to and conjoin with Pluto and the Star of Antinous in April 2020, which adds more momentum and drama to these influences. The giant and the dwarf planets may seem quite different from each other, but both of them represent an aspiration for growth and prosperity. Jupiter-Pluto cycles work on both the material level, where they increase ambition for greater abundance and development, and the spiritual level, where they reflect a deep yearning for Truth.

In short, we can be certain that 2020 will go down in history as a turning point for LGBT spirituality and legal rights. In a positive way, these configurations reflect a remarkable ability to transform difficulty into opportunity, both individually and collectively.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 12th, 2020

On Sunday, Uranus, the planet of revolutionary change, stops dead in its tracks (as seen from Earth) and goes Direct (forwards) ... ending the Retrograde Uranus crisis of the last five months. Even when going forward, Uranus shakes things up. Uranus still shakes things up for us when it goes retrograde, but it starts to do so in a very pushy way. It pushes us to dig deep and really face the problems and the roadblocks that have impeded progress. It forces us to re-evaluate our values and our priorities. From now on, you can expect only the "usual chaos" in your life, and not the shocking chaos that has occurred since 12 August 2019, when Retrograde Uranus began.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:

Another exciting week lies ahead between January 13th and 19th when we come to the Libra Third Quarter Moon. This is the lunar phase we call the CROSSROADS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic ... It is symbolized by the "Herme", the ithyphallic stele of Mercury which guarded intersections of Roman roads ... Tonight is a propitious time for setting a new course, possibly changing course, setting out in a new direction. It is about making a decision. The key is not to worry about which choice to make. The key is to make a choice and go ahead with it ... More details next time ....
