Now Mercury does an about-face and starts going forward again as seen from Earth, ending three weeks of Retrograde "backwards" travel. So you can safely message friends and co-workers a prediction that certain "lost" computer files or parcels will show up by the time they go to work the next morning. Mercury going backwards creates this sort of impish mayhem with matters concerning communications, documents and money. Misplaced tickets, keys, "lost" computer files, letters and packages which vanish into postal limbo ... all are typical of Retrograde Mercury. The "lost" things turn up again as if by magic when Mercury goes Direct again. THE HADRIAN'S WALL MOON OF BARRIERS THE CAPRICORN THIRD QUARTER MOON

TONIGHT's Capricorn Third Quarter Moon is the Lunar Phase which, in Antinous Moon Magic, we call the HADRIAN'S WALL MOON of stubborn intransigence and immovable barriers.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Hadrian's Wall Lunar Phase is the embodiment of hindrances and blockages.

It is the personification of all that stands in your way. It is all barriers and obstacles to progress.

This Spirit locks you up in a prison cell, either literally or figuratively.

It rises up like a mountain to see if you have the stamina and ingenuity to scale it or get around it. But remember that Hadrian's Wall was not impregnable. It was not particularly high. It was not meant to be an impenetrable barrier, but only a hindrance to mass assault or rampant smuggling of goods and livestock.

Thus this Spirit is not insurmountable. It can be overcome, a way can be found around, under, over or through it. This Spirit challenges you to find that way.

The key words are: Barrier. Hindrance. Setback. Confinement. Blockage. Unyielding stubbornness.

This can be a physical barrier, but it can also be an emotional, financial, job or relationship "prison" which blocks your progress.

THE Hadrian's Wall Moon is a time of stubborn intransigence and immovable barriers'. 

Anyone who visits Hadrian's Wall is confronted with that incredible, imposing, 79 mile division that separated the Romans from the terrifying and annoying Pict tribes of Caledonia (from whom, of course, I am descended!). 

Visitors are also reminded that here was the 'end' of Rome. Britannia was safe, prosperous but strictly controlled and emphatically Roman. Beyond the wall was freedom of expression and the continuity of ancient traditions and religious practices. 

We may experience obstacles in our paths but they are not always bad. We can reflect on the life either side of that obstacle and may sometimes find that the life we have on the side seen as less desirable may actually be the most liberating one.

Overnight Wednesday-Thursday the Sun enters the sign of Aries for the Equinox. In the Northern Hemisphere springtime is on the way, but in the Southern Hemisphere autumn is coming. THE SPRING BLUE MOON OF 2019

TONIGHT we come to the first of two Libra Full Moons in succession, which we call the SPRING BLUE MOON. 

This is also a Super Moon ... unusually close to the Earth.

TONIGHT is the SPRING BLUE MOON when we discover, or rediscover, the child within ourselves.

It is similar to the New Moon, so why don't you try my New Moon Ritual?

Every New Moon my love Soman and I write down our intentions and aspirations for the coming moon phase. 

We stand under the moon and read an incantation over them asking for the blessing of the goddess.

We then place them under the pillows we sleep on until the next Full Moon ... in two weeks' time.

Then we read an incantation of thanks and offering while burning the intentions in a cauldron. I then soak the ashes in water and sprinkle them around the base of our roses. 

Our intentions almost always come true and our roses are magnificent. Last year, one orange rose was still flowering in mid November!

So tonight might be a very good night to start such a cycle for yourselves, folks!

ANTINOUS AS THE SLEEPER ENDYMION SIRED THE 52 MAGICAL LUNAR PHASES

ON World Sleep Day ... the Friday before the March Equinox ... we honour Antinous the Moon God as Endymion. 

There are several versions of the story of Endymion and the Moon. 

In all of them, he and the Moon become united in love for each other. 

He sleeps eternally bathed in moonbeams, guarded by animal spirits associated with lunar deities: Selene, Diana, Artemis. 

Pliny the Elder mentions Endymion as the first human to observe the movements of the Moon, which (according to Pliny) accounts for Endymion's love.

In other versions, he is the son of Jupiter/Zeus and the personification of the Moon's Magic on Earth. He sired 52 children with Diana/Selene ... the 52 Lunar Phases of ANTINOUS MOON MAGIC.
