ASTRO FORECAST: MARCH 16th—26th, 2023

Antinous is a Moon God. He is, of course, many other things and he wears many hats. But one of the ways he was worshiped in Antiquity was as ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD.

His worshipers looked skyward and saw His beautiful face perpetually turned towards the Earth. The Man in the Moon was actually the Blessed Boy in the Moon for the ancient priests and worshipers of Antinous. Swiftest and most youthful of all the Zodiacal deities, Antinous speeds through an entire year's worth of Astrological signs in just 28 days.

ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD represents our deepest personal needs, our basic habits and reactions, and our unconscious gay selves. Where Hadrian the Sun acts, Antinous the Moon REACTS. How do we instinctively react or respond to problems? What do we feel we need for a sense of security? Look to ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD for answers.

ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD is both our inner boy child and our inner lover. His ever changing phases, as he sweeps past all the other Planets in all the Signs, make us at turns responsive, receptive, and reflective. Eternally youthful, ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD represents our childlike spontaneous and instinctual reactions.

ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD beams down on us to make us imaginative, creative, intuitive, sentimental, adaptable, introspective, and protective. On the negative side, and depending on where he is in the Zodiac, he can make us moody, restless, and irrational.

MARCH 16th to 26th, 2023

THURSDAY, MARCH 16th, 2023

This week, powerful forces are at work when the Sun aligns with Mercury and both align with Neptune before moving into a 90-degree square aspect to Mars. First of all, the Sun, aided by Mercury, has its annual rendezvous with intuitive Neptune. It is as if a theatrical stage spotlight is fitted with a greenish filter which casts a dreamy light onto the stage which bathes everything in watery pastel greens. This can make it difficult for you to make important decisions. But it can also help you to look deeper into your heart to help you make those decisions on a deeply intuitive basis. But only hours later, the Sun and Mercury square off against Mars to unleash explosive energies. Sun/Mercury square Mars creates a very tense energy which looks for expression through some kind of action, sports, sex, creative self-expression. The square causes obstacles in self-assertion which have to be overcome with the courage and fighting spirit which comes naturally. On the negative side this can lead to setbacks, frustration and may boil over as arguments, fights, tantrums or ... on the global level ... to wars and conflicts. Once the energy finds a safe way of expression, then the tremendous energy can lead to great achievements in Mars activities such as sports, military endeavours, fighting for a particular cause, even dramatic acting. The fiery willpower really does need a useful outlet to stop this warlike energy turning on the self or loved ones ... or pitting one nation against another. Competing and winning is important to maintain a healthy ego.

FRIDAY, MARCH 17th, 2023

On Friday, Venus enters the earthy and sensual realm of Taurus, where the Love Goddess will remain until 11 April 2023. The flirting of the past few weeks Venus spent in Aries is now over. Taurus Venus loves romantic cuddling with good food, good wine, flowers, candles and soft music. Venus in Taurus brings the need for reliability, steadfastness and loyalty. Having a partner whom you can lean on and rely on when the going gets tough is high on the priority list.

SATURDAY, MARCH 18th, 2023

This weekend, Venus moves away from a socially transformative square with Pluto to form an exceedingly fortuitous sextile aspect with insightful Saturn. We're talking about long-term friends, people you have known and loved the longest — or people with whom you really want to form a long-lasting friendship.

SUNDAY, MARCH 19th, 2023

This weekend, Mercury leaves dreamy Pisces and soars into fiery Aries until April 4th when it enters placid Taurus. As Mercury transitions from peaceful Pisces to bold and brash Aries, our minds and our words will get less poetic and more action-oriented. Aries is a Fire sign known for being impulsive, so be careful what you say! Comments might come out of your mouth before they're fully formed, giving them a tinge of sarcasm or even an edge of insult — whether you intend them to or not. And even if we think we know the full impact of our words, there's the danger that we haven't thought far enough ahead about the effect they'll have on those we care about.

MONDAY, MARCH 20th, 2023

On March 20th, the Sun enters the sign of Aries for the Equinox. In the Northern Hemisphere springtime is on the way, but in the Southern Hemisphere autumn is coming. The March Equinox is the official zodiacal start of the astrological year and 2023 IS THE YEAR OF MARS, according to an ancient astro-alchemical calendar. Jupiter ruled 2015. Mars ruled 2016. The Sun ruled 2017. And 2018 was "The Year of Venus." Then 2019 was the "The Year of Mercury" and 2020 was ruled by the Moon. then 2021 was "The Year of Saturn". And 2022 was the "Year of Jupiter." Now 2023 is the "Year of Mars."

TUES-WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21st-22nd, 2023

This week we come to first of two Aries New Moons in succession, the SPRING BLUE MOON, which coincides with THE EQUINOX.

THURS-FRIDAY, MARCH 23rd-24th, 2023

This week a paradigm shift occurs when Pluto enters Aquarius for the first time since the French and American revolutions and remains in revolution-minded Aquarius for the next 20 years. Full details here about PLUTO IN AQUARIUS.

SAT-SUNDAY, MARCH 25th-26th, 2023

This weekend Mars enters Cancer, where the war god feels slightly uncomfortable and tends to pout. Whereas Gemini Mars was all about asserting yourself through action, Cancer Mars is all about asserting your emotions. Instead of engaging in intellectual exchange of opinions, we find ourselves taking remarks the wrong way and snapping at others like the Cancer crab. Mars remains in Cancer until 20th May 2023, when it will enter lively Leo.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:

Another exciting week lies ahead between March 27th and April 2nd, 2023, we come to the Cancer First Quarter Moon. It is the Lunar Phase of reflection and insight which we call the NARCISSUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic ... Narcissus is the Spirit which tunes out all distractions and all other people in order to focus on the Divinity within. This Lunar Phase is the Spirit of Self-Love and Same-Sex Love. It is forever gazing into its own reflection and whispering to itself: You are Divine! The reflection and the viewer are one and the same. The Spirit of Narcissus is the Divinity which holds a mirror up to ourselves ... More details next time ....

THE SPRING BLUE MOON OF 2023

TONIGHT we come to the first of two Aries New Moons in succession, which we call the SPRING BLUE MOON.

In the Southern Hemisphere, it is the Spring Blue Moon.

Whether Springtime or Autumn, you should remember your inner child. Regardless of your age, rediscover the sense of wonder, curiosity and magic you had as a child.

Perhaps you have forgotten how wonderful life can be.

Perhaps you have forgotten how to play like a child. Rediscover the joy and fun you had as a child. You are never too old to have fun and to be joyful.

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS

PLUTO is the planet of transformation, and Aquarius is the sign of progress. Pluto transiting through Aquarius means our lives will be transformed.

When we say Pluto is the sign of transformation, we mean serious transformation. Not a simple change in how we look or who we hang out with, but a significant shift in our souls.

Pluto is the planet of death, but also of rebirth. Pluto is all about shedding our old identities and releasing perspectives that no longer serve us, to make space for something better.

And THAT is what makes Aquarius Pluto so massively important: Aquarius and Pluto are both about regeneration, and their combined energies have incredible power to advance humanity on a global scale.

Worldwide changes in science, technology, and space travel would not be surprising to see while Pluto is in Aquarius, but, more importantly, we will see profound shifts in civil rights and humanitarianism.

The most powerful people will be those who work together and who value the lives, feelings, and experiences of others. Governments and systems that have worked against each other in the past can find common ground during this transit to forge new alliances for the future.

In our personal lives, Pluto in Aquarius urges us to transform our view of ourselves and our place in this world.

It is natural to think of what is best for ourselves and what will help us most in the future, but what if it was our first, natural instinct to think of what is best for others and what will help us all most in the future?

This is the change that Pluto in Aquarius wants to see in us … will we answer the call?

Pluto was in Capricorn from 2008 until 2023, during which time the world saw dramatic dismantling and rebuilding of long-established corporate, financial and political structures. It was the time of the Arab Spring, the Global Banking Crisis and the dissolution and restructuring of traditional political parties.

The last time Pluto passed through Aquarius was from 1777 to 1797, a period that witnessed both the French and American revolutions. Pluto in this systems-minded air sign will transform our understanding of the power of the collective. This time Pluto will be dancing in and out of Aquarius from 2023 until 2044, as it shifts from direct to retrograde and back again.

When heavy Pluto makes a U-turn in the sky, he focuses his transformative energy not on the world at large, but on us as individuals. We are forced to look at the shadowy parts of ourselves that we may like to keep secret.

In the sign of Aquarius, Pluto Retrograde makes us consider our intentions behind our actions: Are we truly acting in others' best interests, or are we only serving ourselves? Do we really feel like part of humanity, or do we feel superior others? Do we listen to the needs of others, or think we already know what is best?

Pluto in Aquarius is ushering in a new chapter for society over the upcoming decades, and it is important to remember that this is the first time that Pluto has been in Aquarius for all of us. There are many expectations for Pluto in Aquarius. Some people expect the final decline and destruction of our culture. But worshipers of Antinous are full of hope for the final dawning Aquarian age in which harmony and love dominate.

THE FEAST OF HORUS AND THE SEVEN SCORPIONS

MARCH 16th is the feast of Horus and the Seven Scorpions. Horus is the son of Isis and Osiris.

When Seth murdered Osiris, grief-stricken Isis searched for his corpse. Isis entrusted baby Horus to Selket/Serqet the scorpion goddess.

The Egyptians knew that scorpions are very good mothers. A mother scorpion carries her babies on her back ... and she attacks anyone who dares to approach too close!

For added protection, Selket became seven scorpions, thus providing seven-fold protection to Horus.

Selket is the guardian of Horus and ... by extension ... she is the guardian of Antinous. When you REALLY need protection: call upon Selket!

16 de março é a festa de Horus e os Sete Escorpiões. Horus é filho de Isis e Osíris. Quando Seth assassinou Osíris, a Isis, que sofreu um sofrimento, procurou seu cadáver. Isis confiou o bebê Horus a Selket / Serqet a deusa do escorpião.

ANTINOUS THE LIVING ZODIAC

PREPARATIONS are being made for Equinox rites at the TEMPLO DE ANTINOO in Mexico City by our sister organization Epithimia, Antinoo México.

This painting shared by Carlos Oseguera Loranca of Antinous as the living Zodiac is nearly finished.

It depicts Antinous as the ages-old symbolic representation of the astrological associations with the physical body ... from Aries at the crown of the head to Pisces at the toes.

Traditionally, the 12 Zodiac signs are said to represent 12 body parts, from the head down. It is referred to as Zodiac Man, or Astrological Man, and it is a very common motif in illustrations and art of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

In this painting, a light descends from the sky as rainbow from the constellation of Antinous, represented by a trans star. The God of Diversity enacts love for lesbian, gay, transsexual, transgender and intersex.

From all the constellations Antinous blesses marriage equality and proclaims: Long live diversity! Happy Equinox Pride March 2016 Ecatepec!

THE ANTINOUS MOON OF STELLAR CLARITY THE SAGITTARIUS THIRD QUARTER MOON

TONIGHT Antinous the Moon God is at right angles to the Sun. This is the SAGITTARIUS THIRD QUARTER MOON, which we call the SACRED STAR phase in Antinous Moon Magic.

Each lunar phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the SACRED STAR lunar phase is the embodiment of clarity and insight.

In the midst of confusion and chaos, the Spirit of the Star touches the top of your head and conveys sudden and total clarity. This Spirit is never deceived by appearances.

It always sees clearly. It sees through every facade. It sees behind all barriers. It sees through the blackest darkness. It shines as a beacon, lighting the way ahead.

The Star of Antinous was named shortly after the death of Antinous, perhaps in the year 131, when the Nile flooded over the embankments and a new star appeared in the sky to announce the deification of the new god.

Hadrian's Astrologers noticed the new star which appeared suddenly within the constellation now known as Aquila, the Eagle.

A new constellation was drawn within Aquila that was named Antinous, and officially recognized by Astronomers and Astrologers all around the world, as recently as the last century.

The Sagittarius Third Quarter Moon is concerned with getting clear on idealistic matters.

Meditations and rituals conducted during this lunar phase are ideal for discerning clarity in opaque situations, for clearing the mind of nebulous distractions and for seeing clearly into other worlds ... the perfect night for clairvoyance.
