DECEMBER 24th, 2020
to JANUARY 3rd, 2021
THURS-MONDAY, DEC. 24th to 28th, 2020
This week, Saturn and Jupiter align in near conjunction with Pluto and with the THE STAR OF ANTINOUS on the cusp between Capricorn and Aquarius. This planetary configuration has not occurred for many centuries and certainly will not occur again during our lifetimes. The giant and the dwarf planets may seem quite different from each other, but both of them represent an aspiration for growth and prosperity. Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto cycles work on both the material level, where they increase ambition for greater abundance and development, and the spiritual level, where they reflect a deep yearning for Truth. And the Star of Antinous underscores their importance to LGBT people. In short, we can be certain that 2020 will go down in history as a turning point for LGBT spirituality and legal rights. In a positive way, these configurations reflect a remarkable ability to transform difficulty into opportunity, both individually and collectively.
TUES. DEC. 29th, 2020, to FRIDAY, JAN. 1st, 2021
The end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 will go down in astrological history as a turning point in LGBT history ... when the Cancer Full Moon occurs while the Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto are aligned in conjunction with the THE STAR OF ANTINOUS. This planetary configuration has not occurred for many centuries and certainly will not occur again during our lifetimes. The Cancer Full Moon is the lunar phase we call the LUNUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic — the Moon of Moons! This is a Full Moon which brings out powerful emotions. Because this Full Moon always occurs during December/January, it is emotional farewell to the old year and heart-felt welcoming of the new year. You will shed sentimental tears for loved ones you have lost during the past year, not to mention a job or other things you may have lost.
There was no Cancer Full Moon during 2019 ... this is the second of two Cancer Full Moons during 2020 ... one in January involving the Star of Antinous, and this one on December 29th, 2020, also involving the Star of Antinous. The opening and closing of the year with a Cancer Full Moon is a tip-off that LGBT people and the rise of LGBT power have been highlighted from the beginning to the end of 2020. This "bookend effect" indicates that LGBT issues are reaching a defining turning point.
The conjunction of Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto with the Star of Antinous is unprecedented in modern times. Every Saturn-Pluto conjunction (or opposition) is historic. Looking back at previous cycles, we can see that a Saturn-Pluto conjunction occurred in October 1914, around the outbreak of World War I. In 1931, Saturn and Pluto formed an opposition in Capricorn and Cancer, defining an era that included the Great Depression.
The next Saturn-Pluto cycle commenced in 1947, soon after World War II ended; Germany and Japan lost military influence and dominance, and the power struggle between Capitalism and Communism gained greater intensity. Saturn and Pluto were in opposition in 1966, when the Vietnam War peaked, accentuating the division between the two blocs.
The following cycle of 1982 marked a time of economic recession in the world, with the highest rate of unemployment in the U.S. since the Great Depression. It also marked the escalation of the Cold War during the Reagan years, later leading to the collapse of the Soviet bloc.
The last time that Saturn and Pluto were in opposition was in the autumn of 2001 ... when the 9/11 terrorism attacks changed the world.
It is frankly difficult to predict how this Saturn-Jupiter-Pluto alignment will be affected by the Star of Antinous ... because there are no historical documents in any astrological record for such a configuration. But we can be certain that tremendous forces are at play for LGBT rights.
In short, we can be certain that 2020/21 will go down in history as a turning point for LGBT spirituality and legal rights. In a positive way, these configurations reflect a remarkable ability to transform difficulty into opportunity, both individually and collectively
In addition, Venus in Sagittarius forms a 90-degree square aspect to foggy Pisces Neptune. On the positive side: you can trust your intuition to buy a lottery ticket. But on the negative side, you don't know when to stop and squander your hard-earned money on a bad bet ... in money and love..
SAT-SUNDAY, JAN. 2nd-3rd, 2021
The first weekend of 2021, your intuition is enhanced when Mercury forms a sextile aspect with dreamy Neptune. You should trust your intuition about financial and business matters, but be wary of fast-talking con-men who try to cloud your mind. You can count on finding the right word at the right time by trusting your inner voice.
SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:
Another exciting week lies ahead between January 4th and 10th, 2021, because it's time to take serious decisions about the New Year when we come to the Libra Third Quarter Moon. This is the lunar phase we call the CROSSROADS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic ... It is symbolized by the "Herme", the ithyphallic stele of Mercury which guarded intersections of Roman roads ... Tonight is a propitious time for setting a new course, possibly changing course, setting out in a new direction. It is about making a decision. The key is not to worry about which choice to make. The key is to make a choice and go ahead with it ... More details next time ....
