His worshipers looked skyward and saw His beautiful face perpetually turned towards the Earth. The Man in the Moon was actually the Blessed Boy in the Moon for the ancient priests and worshipers of Antinous. This week, Mars and the outer planets dominate our lives when Mars leaves persnickety Virgo and enters diplomatic Libra, where the war god will remain until 22 September 2025. First and foremost, though, this week the world comes to a screeching stop when Mars is in opposition to Saturn and Neptune, both of which are retrograde in headstrong Aries ... a relatively rare configuration which always brings things to a temporary standstill. Diligent Virgo Mars wants to press the pedal to the metal, but intensely moody Pisces Saturn has both feet firmly on the brake and Neptune is lost in drams. Mars is action-oriented while Saturn is slow and cautious and Neptune can't discern fact from fiction. This configuration creates frustration on the global level as well as in your own personal life.But that is not all! Mars also forms powerful trine aspects with impulsive Uranus and turbulent Pluto. In Antinous Moon Magic we call this the "Stonewall Configuration" because the Stonewall Riots best demonstrate what can happen ... an explosive and wholly unexpected rebellion. Because all three planets are in Air signs, this aspect can spawn a sudden rupture or disruption of global consequences ... with long-lasting consequences. MONDAY, AUGUST 11th, 2025
Aren't you tired of all the computer glitches, "lost" files, travel delays and snafus of recent weeks? Take heart! Now Mercury does an about-face and starts going forward again as seen from Earth, ending three weeks of Retrograde "backwards" travel. So you can safely message friends and co-workers a prediction that certain "lost" computer files or parcels will show up by the time they go to work tomorrow morning. Mercury going backwards creates this sort of impish mayhem with matters concerning communications, documents and money. Misplaced tickets, keys, "lost" computer files, letters and packages which vanish into postal limbo ... all are typical of Retrograde Mercury. The "lost" things turn up again as if by magic when Mercury goes Direct again. A skilled astrologer, Hadrian no doubt amazed his courtiers by accurately predicting when some "lost" document or wayward courier message would finally re-appear out of no where.

The Perseids meteors reach their peak this week. Go outside on a clear night and you will see dozens of meteors. They appear to originate in the Constellation of Antinous right in the middle of the July and August night sky ... as though Antinous is shooting arrows at you. The Perseids are a great opportunity for Antinous Star Magic. The PERSEID METEORS (which reach their peak at this time of year) are symbolically aimed at you. Antinous is aiming his gifts of new opportunity directly your way. All you have to do is reach out and grasp it — and it's yours.

This week we come to the best planetary configuration of the year when Venus aligns in conjunction with Jupiter and both of them glide into gregarious Gemini. Venus conjunction Jupiter is a textbook alignment for love and good fortune in all sorts of relationships ... romantic relationships and business relationships. A chance meeting or unexpected phone call or message can open a window of opportunity to make things happen fast.
