This week Venus (love, sexual attraction, wealth) enters Capricorn (business, practicality, hard reality) and stays there until December 7th, 2024. The goddess of love will have us reviewing and renewing many of our relationship commitments and obligations in very tangible and concrete ways. Venus in Capricorn knows the laws of sexuality in any given culture, and is skilled at bending those laws to their benefit. Capricorn wants to be the boss of itself (and possibly you) and generally goes it alone, which is an interesting modus operandi for the planet that tells us about how we do partnership. This trip through the sign of the Goat can teach us about boundaries within our unions. There's nothing sexier than someone who isn't desperate for our affections while still remaining open, transparent and available for intimacy and spontaneity. Venus in Capricorn can become a bit of a cautious ice queen if it starts to take itself, its work and its ambitions too seriously. It becomes a pleasure." This is an aspect which encourages people to say vicious and intentionally hurtful things. People are overly persnickety and bitchy and downright mean. You'll be amazed how true this is.

This week, the year 2024 gets a reboot when Saturn turns around in space and goes Direct ("forward" as seen from Earth) again for the first time since it went Retrograde on 30 June 2024. As Saturn retraced its steps over the last five months, we all revisited issues and problems in our lives which needed to be remedied before we move on. Saturn, the school teacher of the Zodiac, forced you to sit down and complete your homework before moving forward to the next class. Now, with Saturn moving forward again, this means a breakthrough in logjams in Aquarius Saturn topics such as karmic trust issues in relationships, business partnerships and legal matters. You will see progress again in those areas and can make new commitments and set lofty new goals.

Ready for a good, predictable meteor shower? Then break out your favorite sky-watching gear because the Leonid Meteor Shower reaches its peak this week. In the pre-dawn hours on the mornings of November 16th-19th, the Leonids (offspring of Comet Temple/Tuttle) will be flashing through our atmosphere at speeds of up to 72 kilometers per second. You can expect to see dozens of meteors an hour. As Marcus Aurelius says: "Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them."

Earthquakes. Revolutions. Love (or lust) at first sight. This week sudden and abrupt change can occur with Earth-shattering results when the Sun is in 180-degree opposition to rebellious Uranus. This configuration occurs once a year and always brings unexpected and exciting encounters or events which shake up the world ... including your own personal world. Adapting to any changes requires extra effort, and any excitement may leave your nerves frayed. These unexpected and quite possibly unwanted changes can manifest in yourself, through a partner, or through an external event. Although initially upsetting and you may resist any change, it may offer a better way forward for you if you keep an open mind. You may anticipate something new on the horizon or feel nervous anxiety. Think about doing something out of the ordinary to satisfy your curiosity, otherwise the electric and spontaneous energy may escape in a destructive way such as a minor accident. Odd behavior or a radical about face in someone close to you may cause anxiety too. They may be looking for more personal freedom and any resistance or dominance from you would further encourage any rebelliousness. Arguments or separation may result from impatience or an inability on your part to adapt. It is possible now that someone new may enter your life who brings about much-needed change.
