Overnight Thursday-Friday, Mercury does an about-face and goes "backwards" as seen from Earth until July 12th. This RETROGRADE MERCURY phase is a time of confusion in communications and commerce. About three times each year, Mercury the communications wizard turns into Mercury the fast-talking con man. This is the RETROGRADE MERCURY phase, and it lasts about three weeks. RETROGRADE MERCURY will be serving up glitches and snafus in communications, computers, transport, travel and social media. If you are buying a new mobile phone, be sure to read the fine print about hidden costs. Planning to move into a new apartment? Check the kitchen and bathroom for tell-tale signs of mold before signing the lease. This weekend, we come to the first of two Cancer New Moons in succession which, in Antinous Moon Magic, is called the Summer Blue Moon, coinciding with the JUNE SOLSTICE. For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere this is the Summer Solstice and the days start getting shorter. For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere this is the Winter Solstice and spring will soon be on the way. But above all, we reflect on the inner Antinous within us all ... already within us ... waiting to be awakened. Many of us spend a lot of our lives looking for role models, mentors, teachers, and gurus to guide us on our path. There is nothing wrong with this and, in fact, finding the right person at the right time can really help. However, it is important to realize that in the absence of such a figure, we can very safely rely upon ourselves. Flamen Antonius Subia has said this many times. Instead of looking for Antinous outside of us, Antonius says we should look inside of us for Antinous. We ARE Antinous and He is us. This week, Neptune turns Retrograde and begins retracing its steps through dreamy Pisces from now until November 28th. Overnight Thursday-Friday, Retrograde Venus turns around and goes Direct (forwards as seen from Earth) for the first time in six weeks. On Sunday, Mars eagerly leaves watery Pisces and enters fiery Aries, where the war god feels much more at home. This leaves Mars free to radiate far more energy to all of us, so you can expect to feel "re-charged" in coming days and weeks. Just one word of caution: The Martian transition from Pisces to Aries is very abrupt. Tempers may flare. Just turn a blind eye to hurtful remarks made during the heat of the moment.
