On Thursday, Mars leaves cold and logical Aquarius and dives into the waters of Pisces ... this is like lava dropping into the sea ... lots of steam and boiling ... and the cosmos conspires to make your dreams come true! FRI-SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16th-18th, 2018
This weekend there are two major direction changes. First, Retrograde Venus turns around and goes Direct (forwards as seen from Earth) for the first time in six weeks. Have you been confused about gender roles and former friends over the past six weeks? Blame retrograde Venus! Old friends suddenly resurfaced, old questions about your identity recurred. But now, retrograde Venus turns direct and is going forward again. Friendships, financial questions and identity confusion will become clearer and more transparent now. But that is not all this weekend. Mercury does an about-face and goes "backwards" as seen from Earth until December 7th. This RETROGRADE MERCURY phase is a time of confusion in communications and commerce. About three times each year, Mercury the communications wizard turns into Mercury the fast-talking con man. This is the RETROGRADE MERCURY phase, and it lasts about three weeks. RETROGRADE MERCURY will be serving up glitches and snafus in communications, computers, transport, travel and social media. If you are buying a new mobile phone, be sure to read the fine print about hidden costs. Planning to move into a new apartment? Check the kitchen and bathroom for tell-tale signs of mold before signing the lease. Remember over the next three weeks that MERCURY wants you to play his sly game to win — not to be a whining victim. Make him proud of the way you play his game!

This promises to be the most dangerous week of the year when Mars squares off against Jupiter — a configurations which invariably spawns strife, conflict, warfare, earthquakes and even bad weather.

On Saturday Neptune turns direct. The planet Neptune, long considered the planet of make believe, rules our dreams, fantasies and illusions. Retrograde since June 18th, Neptune finally turns direct on November 24th. When Neptune turns retrograde, logic falls to the wayside in favor of esoteric interests and intuition. People begin to pay more attention to their dreams and explore more creative outlets.Now that Neptune turns direct, dreams that have been bubbling below the surface may begin to rise to consciousness. You may also feel an increase of compassion, rebirth of idealism and an increased spiritual awareness. Make a plan to re-connect with your goals and ideals, and cultivating a big-picture approach!
Did you know that it takes 165 years for Neptune to circle the Sun one time, long enough for this planet to spend 14 years in each sign of the zodiac? Stationary for two weeks or so at a time, Neptune goes into retrograde five months out of every year.

On Sunday the Sun aligns with Jupiter in insightful Sagittarius to explore and deepen our confidence and faith in life. This is your lucky day for a new start. Remember the birth of Dionysus! In Classical Mythology Zeus/Jupiter often visited mortals in disguise, for his radiance was too dazzling for mortals to behold ... rather like the Sun in conjunction with Jupiter. In the story of the birth of Dionysus, we see that Semele Princess of Thebes had been made pregnant by Jupiter in disguise. Semele later became curious about his true appearance. So, Semele decided to ask Zeus to grant her a wish, and he took an oath on the river Styx that he would give her anything. She asked that he appear to her in all his glory. Jupiter was forced to comply. However, mortals could not look upon Jupiter without bursting into flames, which is what happened to Semele. Jupiter managed to save the unborn baby by sewing it inside his thigh. A few months later, god Dionysus was born, who managed to save his mother from the Underworld and brought her to Mount Olympus, where she became the goddess Thyone. Antinous traditionally has been identified with Dionysus "Twice Born" of mortal woman and divine radiance. Antinous/Dionysus reminds you that you are HOMOTHEOSIS ...
