ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD
MERGES WITH HADRIAN/JUPITER
TONIGHT is a night for some major ANTINOUS MOON MAGIC when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD "eclipses" the planet Jupiter.
Technically, this is an "occultation." If you live at just the right place on Earth, you’ll be able to watch the waning crescent moon occult — cover over — the planet Jupiter for up to an hour before dawn on Sunday morning, July 15. Northern Africa, Europe and the Middle East are among the places that will see this lunar occultation of Jupiter at or before dawn (Sunday, July 15).
If you live in the Americas, the occultation occurs Saturday evening (between 10 p.m. and midnight New York time). But no matter where you live, look for the moon to shine near two brilliant planets: Venus and Jupiter.
By Sunday dawn in the Americas, you will see the crescent Moon has just left Jupiter and is heading for Venus (photo above).
While the Moon passes by Jupiter every month, only very rarely does it pass directly in front of Jupiter. This year is special because the Moon will occult Jupiter ten times between June 2012 and February 18th 2013.
In ANTINOUS MOON MAGIC Jupiter symbolizes Emperor Hadrian and the Moon stands for Antinous. In Classical Mythology, Jupiter/Zeus inseminated many mortals, siring many demigods, among them Pollux, Hercules and Dionysus (all three possessing ambiguous sexual orientation). In conventional astrology, Moon-Occult-Jupiter is an optimal time for becoming pregnant. But in ANTINOUS MOON MAGIC it is the night for magically inseminating your spiritual self so as to bring forth or "give birth to" divine and enduring works.
On the OBELISK OF ANTINOUS, cryptic Egyptian hieroglyphs assert that the "Semen of the First God" flows through Antinous — a reference to the Egyptian creation myth about the first deity, who ejaculated into his own mouth and spoke the magical words of creation which produced all the gods and goddesses and the universe.
The Moon-Jupiter Occultation is the perfect night for ANTINOUS MOON MAGIC rituals aimed at opening your spiritual self to the magical power of Hadrian and Antinous so that the "Semen of the First God" flows through you to bring forth ideas of a divine and enduring nature.
