MAGICAL CRYSTALS FOR THE YULE MOON
By Our Crystal Meditation Advisor Martin Campbell

TONIGHT's very special Yuletide Full Moon ... the first since 1977 and the last until 2034 ... is the Cancer Full Moon ... which we call the Lunus Moon in Antinous Moon Magic.

Depending on your faith, today (or at this time of year) I can wish you a happy…

Saturnalia, Birth of Mithras, Yule, Hanuka, Christmas, Yalda, Panch Canapati and Hogswatch!!

It is a time for joy, fun, gift giving, rich food but also a time for reflection on what has been and what is to come.

All year round we are blessed by the glittering gift of our wonderful astrology adviser, Hernestus.

He has reminded me that this moon phase is the Cancer Full Moon which is the one we refer to as the Lunus Moon in Antinous moon magic.

Hernestus suggests that this moon may find you focused on emotions and visualising them in meditations or trances.

Of course emotions are at their highest during religious festivals or times of collective merriment.

Some will be riotous and singing, some will be telling jokes, some will be arguing loudly with family members but some, often tucked out of sight may be sitting quietly and remembering lost ones, happier times or the true spiritual meanings of the day.

The key thing about emotions is to let them out!

One way of doing so, of course, is to give a gift to say 'I love you', 'thank you' or 'I don't like you so I am giving you a horrible jumper I found in a charity shop/thrift store'!

Many will give the gift of crystals today either as part of a jewel, a crystal itself, or even in less obvious ways.

Watches often contain actual or liquid crystal. Power tools often use diamond parts because of their immense strength. Glass objects are made from melted sand - which are grains of crystals and stones ground nearly to dust by natural erosion.

A gift to yourself is finding the time to sit and take a few minutes out from all the craziness and meditating for a while.

I would suggest using the following crystals to focus particular energies and emotions for you:

Jade (esp. green) - This stone (jade Yule tree above) channels passion into constructive approaches to situations with the people around you whether family, friends, colleagues or enemies. It is not surprising, therefore, that Chinese people have held Green Jade as sacred for over a millennia. Green, of course, also reminds us of the Holly, Ivy and mistletoe so beloved and sacred to ancient Pagans.

Carnelian - (Carnelian Yule tree above) Once you are moving into, or have found, your place of positivity then I suggest that you the crystal which is my personal favourite – Carnelian. Red or orange Carnelian helps you to become full of life force and vitality. It helps you to focus on positive outcomes, joy and fun approaches to life.

Fire Opal - Many of us mourn the loss of another year or focus on other losses we may have experienced in that, or previous, years.

I carried a Fire Opal with me for over a year during  a very troubling time in my life a couple of years ago.

I held it during meditations too. It helped my immensely – I felt my moments of grief released more readily yet the outcomes of each cry or moment of depression were somehow channeled into more positive thinking.

Whatever you are doing at this festive time of year please accept my warmest wishes for your happiness and fulfillment. Blessed be to you all. Ave Antinous!

Light and Life,
MARTIN

THE ANTINOUS LUNUS MOON
THE CANCER FULL MOON

TONIGHT's Cancer Full Moon is the lunar phase we call the LUNUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic — the Moon of Moons!

This is a Full Moon which brings out powerful emotions. Because this Full Moon always occurs during December/January, it is emotional farewell to the old year and heart-felt welcoming of the new year.

You will shed sentimental tears for loved ones you have lost during the past year, not to mention a job or other things you may have lost.

Each lunar phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of Lunus is Antinous the Moon God. It is your His lunar divine self.

Antinous the Gay God was worshiped in ancient times as a lunar deity. The "Man in the Moon" was actually the "Blessed Boy in the Moon" to the ancient worshipers of Antinous.

The Spirit of the Lunus Moon is the spirit of emotions, unconscious habits, rhythms, memories and moods. It is also your dreams and nostalgia. Lunus is the personification of the unconscious mind and it is all dreams and visions.

The OBELISK OF ANTINOUS states that he hears the prayers of his worshipers and sends them healing visions as they slumber. Lunus is the personification of intuition and mediumistic abilities.

Lunus is clairvoyance itself. Lunus is also the bringer of nightmares, fears, traumas and irrational emotional imbalance.

Just as the Moon moves the tides, Lunus brings emotional fluctuations. Lunus is inconstancy, inconsistency and flux. As the phases of the moon change, so Lunus is all things which flow and fluctuate. It is all things which come and go like the tides.

Tonight's Lunus Moon is a propitious time for meditations and rituals delving into your emotional state of being, and also for intuitive or clairvoyant trances.

ASTRO FORECAST: DEC. 17 2015 — JAN. 3, 2016

Antinous Astrology Forecast

DEC 17, 2015 - JAN 3, 2016

THURSDAY DECEMBER 17, 2015

In ancient times Antinous was famous for love spells and you can see for yourself when love goddess Venus is in a sexy sextile aspect with darkly magical Pluto. Venus sextile Pluto gives you the ability to cast a really powerful kind of love spell on others. We all know that love spells can go any which way. They can bind two people’s affections together in ways that are movingly romantic and passionate or dangerously unbalanced and obsessive. Pluto tends to manifest in extremes, so with this planet in aspect to Venus, your planet of romance, love affairs tend to swing from one end of the emotional spectrum to the next. You'll often find yourself on the receiving end of some obsessively intense attractions but you’re certainly prone to experiencing all-consuming feelings of attraction toward the object of your desire. Go ahead, give it love a chance.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 18, 2015

On Friday we come to the Pisces First Quarter Moon. In Antinous Moon Magic this is the CONSORTIUM MOON of partnership, commitment and belonging ... it is symbolized by the wedding ring ... Because it always occurs towards the end of the year, the Consortium Moon represents the cyclical nature of the year, the ending of one year and the beginning of a new year ... Tonight is a beneficent night for meditation or rituals concerning relationships and all things that are bound by a circle of togetherness ... In health matters, it refers to blood and the circulatory system ... This is the Lunar phase of the Circle of Life, the inter-connectedness of all things.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 19, 2015

On Saturday "mental" Mercury aligns in conjunction with "investigative" Pluto, allowing us the chance to deftly channel our "inner detective" to get to the bottom of things, if we so desire ... although, we may also want to practice some measure of discretion with respect to how, when, and with whom we ultimately decide to share any of our findings. As most of us know: once we put something "out there," it’s there for good. By the way, the Scottish writer, Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of "Sherlock Holmes," had his natal Mercury in a tight conjunction with Pluto in Taurus in his "hidden" twelfth house. Michael Jackson was another person with this same planetary aspect, an influence which can also give us a "flair for the dramatic." Mercury-Pluto also tends to inject more passion (Pluto) into our communications (Mercury)..

SUNDAY DECEMBER 20, 2015

On Sunday vengeance and enmity ignite erupt when Mercury and Uranus are in a 90-degree right angle to each other, completing a week dominated by explosive Uranian configurations. This is the second time this year that Mercury square Uranus has plagued us. The last time, in mid-July, was a time rife with mass shootings and terrorist attacks.

MONDAY/TUESDAY DEC. 21/22, 2015

Overnight Monday/Tuesday we come to the December Solstice. Tuesday at 04:47 Universal Time (8:48 p.m. Monday at the Hollywood Temple of Antinous) the sun "stands still" ("Sol Stasis") — the December 21/22, 2015, Solstice. In the Northern Hemisphere the days begin to get longer again, and in the Southern Hemisphere daylight begins to wane. But remember: As we pointed out yesterday, vengeance and enmity ignite erupt when Mercury and Uranus are in a 90-degree right angle to each other, completing a week dominated by explosive Uranian configurations. This is the second time this year that Mercury square Uranus has plagued us. The last time, in mid-July, was a time rife with mass shootings and terrorist attacks.

WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY DEC. 23/24, 2015

On Wednesday and Thursday love goddess Venus forms a fine sextile aspect to jovial Jupiter which makes for a harmonious Christmas Eve. Whether you are working over the holidays or are in the throes of family Christmas stress, Venus sextile Jupiter helps to smooth over the tensions and create a loving atmosphere.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 25, 2015

Christmas Day is very special this year not only because Mercury and Jupiter form a convivial trine aspect but also because we it is a Full Moon Day as we come to the Cancer Full Moon, which is the lunar phase we call the LUNUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic — the Moon of Moons!

SATURDAY/SUNDAY DEC. 26/27, 2015

The period between Christmas and New Year's is always a time of reflection and digestion and this weekend is particularly sleepy when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms lackadaisical aspects Mercury, Mars, Uranus and Pluto — but none of the major planets engage in any meaningful aspects with each other.

MONDAY/TUESDAY DEC. 28/29, 2015

The final week of the year 2015 is dominated by Mercury square Mars. Overnight Monday/Tuesday Capricorn Mercury moves into a 90-degree right angle aspect to Libra Mars. This square aspect dominates both days and, indeed, tinges the whole week to come. Many astrologers say that this aspect is when people sharpen their swords. But in my experience in casting gay horoscopes, we find that a Mercury/Mars square involving goat-headed Capricorn and prevaricating Libra indicates that people will be sharpening their tongues to use as weapons! Remember that lovely line from "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde (who is a Saint of Antinous, by the way): "On an occasion of this kind it becomes more than a moral duty to speak one's mind. It becomes a pleasure." This is an aspect which encourages people to say vicious and intentionally hurtful things. People are overly persnickety and bitchy and downright mean. You'll be amazed how true this is. And if you want to remain above the fray, just remember when something cruel is on the tip of your tongue to bite your tongue. That's because Mercury enters Aquarius later this week and Mars dives into devilish Scorpio on the weekend and you don't want to say something now that you'll regret this coming weekend.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 30, 2015

On Wednesday Venus soars into jovial Sagittarius, leaving behind the murky moodiness of Scorpio for another year. Sagittarius Venus is supremely optimistic and eager to give everybody the benefit of the doubt when it comes to trust in matters of love. This is in stark contrast to wary suspicions which abounded when Venus was in Scorpio. From now until January 24th, Sadge Venus encourages you to give love a chance.

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2015-2016

On New Year's Eve and New Year's Day hope and confidence fill the atmosphere when we come to the LIBRA THIRD QUARTER MOON, which we call the CROSSROADS MOON. It is a time for setting a new course, possibly changing course, setting out in a new direction. It is about making a decision. The key is not to worry about which choice to make. The key is to make a choice and go ahead with it.

SATURDAY JANUARY 2, 2016

On Saturday it's time to take advantage of those January Clearance Sales and buy a new smartphone, tablet or other communications device when Mercury enters the tech-friendly and communications-conscious sign of Aquarius. This is the best time of year for communications technology upgrades. But hurry, because Mercury only stays in Aquarius for seven days before it goes "Retrograde" (backwards as seen from Earth) and slips back into Capricorn and remains there until Valentine's Day when it re-enters Aquarius.

SUNDAY JANUARY 3, 2016

On Sunday Mars leaves Libra, where it has been very uncomfortable since November 13th, and dives into the steamy waters of Scorpio, where it feels truly at home. All of the warrior god's natural characteristics, good and bad, are much stronger here. Mars's aggressive energies are more intense, more passionate, more loyal, more stubborn, crueler, more secretive, more manipulative, more jealous and (surprise!) more sensitive here than in any other sign. It will be an intense couple of months until Mars enters Sagittarius March 6, 2016.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:

Another exciting week lies ahead between January 4 and 10 when we come to the Capricorn New Moon, which we call the LAMIA MOON of dark magic. Meditation and rituals conducted tonight are best suited for rooting out malaise and sickness and for diminishing evil sendings. Look for areas in your life where you may be detrimental to yourself, may be working against yourself or may be making yourself sick, perhaps literally so .... More details next time ....

DIAMONDS FOR THE CONSORTIUM MOON
By Our Crystal Meditation Adviser Martin Campbell

FOR tonight's CONSORTIUM MOON, which shines its moonbeams on interpersonal relationships, I would suggest:

1. Diamonds - obviously I hear you cry! "Diamonds Are Forever" as Shirley Bassey sings (above).

But actually they create fearlessness, fortitude and the insight to see where problems lie so you can fix them - perfect for a lasting relationship with someone!

They are the perfect cleansers of your aura. Your aura is that energy which emanates from yourself, reflecting your current condition/mood. Some people can sense them - some can see them in waves of colour around you (I can do this if I really concentrate and blur my vision). If you are feeling negative, angry or stressed your aura will show or feel this. Diamonds can help you clear this. Again, perfect for a lasting relationship!

They are huge suppliers of energy (which one may need on a marriage night!). They also increase your metabolic rate and counteract poisons (which may be needed if your husband finds out you've been unfaithful!).

2. Sardonyx - These beautiful stones were much loved by the Romans for carving stunning cameos and other jewels - particularly those representing relationships.

The Roman sardonyx cameo (known as the Grand Camée de France) is a perfect example.

Sardonyx stones are perfect for this moon phase because they bring lasting happiness and stability to relationships.

They resensitize the sensory organs - which could also come in handy for the adventurous on that honeymoon!!!

They regulate fluids in the body and aid cell reproduction in blood.

Light and sparkling crystals,
MARTIN

THE ANTINOUS CONSORTIUM MOON
THE PISCES FIRST QUARTER MOON

TONIGHT's Pisces First Quarter Moon in Antinous Moon Magic is the CONSORTIUM MOON of social interaction, reconciliation and marital union.

Because it always occurs in December or January, the Consortium Moon represents the cyclical nature of the year, the ending of one year and the beginning of a new year.

The end of one cycle automatically marks the beginning of a new cycle.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Consortium Moon is the Spirit of Togetherness.

This Spirit revels in closed circles, rings and ties that bind. It is the Spirit of every collaboration, group, association, alliance, team, fellowship, marriage, club or confederation.

It is the tangible feeling of togetherness and belonging people share when working towards a common goal.

Tonight is a beneficent night for meditation or rituals concerning relationships and all things that are bound by a circle. In health matters, it refers to blood and the circulatory system. This is the Lunar phase of the Circle of Life, the inter-connectedness of all things.

The key words are: Partnership. Alliance. Union. Marriage. Commitment. Circle. Ring. Group. Binding Agreement. Obligation to Others. It represents every sort of societal bond or binding alliance as symbolized by a wedding ring or the iron ring of Roman citizenship.

ANGELITE FOR THE FORTUNA MOON
By Our Crystal Meditation Adviser Martin Campbell

TONIGHT we come to the Sagittarius New Moon which we call the FORTUNA MOON Antinous.

The Fortuna Moon is the luckiest lunar phase of the year, the time when meditations focus on areas in our lives where we are looking for success or for counting our blessings.

My crystal meditation choices for this lunar phase are:

1. Joy/excess - Alexandrite Beryl. It brings joy and expands creativity.

2. Channeling - Angelite. It facilitates contact with the spirits and angels.

3. Fearful surprises - Orange Calcite. It removes fear and balances the emotions.

4. Positive surprises - Emerald. It enhances the enjoyment of the world and all it brings.

5. Good fortune - Sunstone. It helps you to link with benevolent gods and good fortune.

6. Positive manifestation - Citrine. It helps you to accept the positive flow of energies that will take you to where you sub-consciously (or even consciously) know you really need to be (physically, emotionally or spiritually).

I had a very powerful visualisation when meditating with a beautiful little piece of Citrine recently.

I was guided to a vast cave where I found a pool of water illuminated by a shaft of light. I saw a marble bust of Antinous laid on its back in the water, so his face looked up at me. I am clairaudient so heard his voice say “remember I am always here”.

I think he meant both in terms of omnipotence but also within that crystal. I now carry it with me everywhere!

Love and Light
MARTIN

THE ANTINOUS FORTUNA MOON
THE SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON

TONIGHT's Sagittarius New Moon is when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD aligns in conjunction with his heavenly father Ra-Herakhte at the end of the year.

In Antinous Moon Magic, this is the lunar phase we call the FORTUNA MOON. This is the classic good luck moon of the astrological year.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Fortuna Moon is the Spirit of Victory and Success.

This Spirit is the champion crossing the finish line, the winner of the match, the one holding the gold medal.

This Spirit is the embodiment of the proverbial happy ending, the sweet smell of success, the incredible run of luck, the feather in one's cap, the stroke of genius, the jackpot, the mother lode.

Antinous is holding a bottomless cornucopia with a powerful serpent wrapped around the cornucopia to enhance its power and ensure that nothing untoward can possible occur.

Antinous during this Lunar Phase is the personification of Good Fortune, the one for whom everything is coming up roses. He wraps his arm around your shoulder and says, "Trust your luck. Trust me."

The is the best lunar cycle of the year for casting oracles, reading the runes or the cards or working spells for success in the coming year.
