JANUARY 15 to 25, 2015
THURSDAY JANUARY 15, 2015
On Thursday, things get intense when Mars forms a 90-degree square right angle to Saturn. It is like driving down a highway with one foot on the brake and the other on the accelerator because Mars wants to press the pedal to the metal, while Saturn wants a cautious, go-slow approach. The result is pent-up frustration which boils over into rage. Open warfare breaks out not only in crisis regions of the world, but also in street traffic, in your work place and in your domestic relationship. Cold-blooded, vengeful wrath strangles out rational thought.
FRIDAY JANUARY 16, 2015
On Friday, the work week ends on a tense note when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms industrious aspect to the Sun and Saturn but squares off against angry Mars and Neptune. While most of those configurations spell conscientiousness, the Moon-square-Neptune aspect encourages you to forget details and lose sight of the big overview.
SATURDAY/SUNDAY JANUARY 17/18, 2015
On Saturday and Sunday, harmonious configurations abound among ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD, Uranus, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Neptune. Enjoy a pleasant and relaxing weekend because big changes are ahead next week. On Sunday, in particular, your heartstrings will throb when Venus is in opposition to exaggeration-prone Jupiter. That is a recipe for a one-night fling which you will long remember.
MONDAY JANUARY 19, 2015
On Monday, capricious flirtation is in the air when Venus is in opposition to Jupiter … but you feel intimidated and insecure when assertive Mars moves into alignment with nebulous Neptune. One the one hand, Mars has an agenda of self-esteem priorities. But on the other hand, Neptune says your ego is an illusion. This Mars/Neptune conjunction occurs about every 18 months ... and it invariably coincides with wars, terrorist attacks and betrayals of trust. This is because many males react to insecurity and perceived threats to their manhood by being overly aggressive. But there is a positive side to Mars/Neptune: This is a golden opportunity to review and reassess and meditate on your goals in life ... to come up with realistic ways of achieving them constructively.
TUESDAY JANUARY 20, 2015
On Tuesday, the Sun and the Moon both enter Aquarius and align in conjunction for the New Moon which is the OBELISK MOON in Antinous Moon Magic ... It always occurs near or on such festivals as Chinese New Year, Candlemas, Luminaria, Imbolc and Brighid's Day ... all festivals of shedding light on secrets, oracles (Groundhog Day), revealing secret knowledge, news, predictions ... It is symbolized by the "Obelisk of Antinous" which is incised with Egyptian hieroglyphs which, in the 2nd Century AD, almost no one could read, not even Egyptians. The Obelisk is the spirit of all-encompassing power of knowledge in all of its forms, in print, over the internet or over airwaves. It is knowledge that enables you to broaden your mortal mind to encompass the cosmos. You are the cosmos becoming aware of itself through knowledge.
WEDNESDAY JANUARY 21, 2015
On Wednesday, Mercury does an about-face and goes "backwards" as seen from Earth until February 11th. This RETROGRADE MERCURY phase is a time of confusion in communications and commerce. About three times each year, Mercury the communications wizard turns into Mercury the fast-talking con man. This is the RETROGRADE MERCURY phase, and it lasts about three weeks. So RETROGRADE MERCURY will be serving up glitches and snafus in the Aquarius-related areas of communications, computers, transport, travel and social media. If you are buying a new mobile phone, be sure to read the fine print about hidden costs. Planning to move into a new apartment? Check the kitchen and bathroom for tell-tale signs of mold before signing the lease. Remember over the next three weeks that MERCURY wants you to play his sly game to win — not to be a whining victim. Make him proud of the way you play his game!
THURSDAY JANUARY 22, 2015
On Thursday, the Sun forms a cosy sextile aspect with Saturn, which provides an opportunity to slow down and stand back and review what plans you have in store for 2015. No matter how fast and furiously (and destructively) things have been occurring so far this New Year, you now have a chance to analyze and study what needs to be done to ensure things are smoother the rest of the year.
FRIDAY JANUARY 23, 2015
On Friday, you can forget about getting any work done when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD goes VOID OF COURSE for 26 hours for all time zones around the world — causing delays, rescheduling, lost messages and missed opportunities. Remember we always say you should think of ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD as your favorite rock or pop star giving a concert. The VOC MOON is the break between sets. The singer goes back stage for a costume change and psychs themselves up for the next set. Meanwhile, the audience is waiting impatiently out front while video projections and doo-wah girls fill the interlude. That's what a VOID OF COURSE MOON feels like. Nothing much will happen during this VOC period — nothing bad, but nothing good either, just nothing. But on the plus side, a VOC is perfect for meditation, dream-scaping and contacting the spirit world.
SATURDAY/SUNDAY JANUARY 24/25, 2015
This weekend promises to be an emotional roller-coaster ride when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms sometimes positive and sometimes nasty configurations with Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. The mood changes dramatically almost hourly. So improvise and be flexible.
SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:
Another exciting week lies ahead between January 26 and February 1 when we come to the Taurus First Quarter Moon, the lunar phase of young love which, in Antinous Moon Magic, we call the ANTINOUS AMOR MOON ... this moon paves the way for Valentine's Day! .... More details next time ....
