The Man in the Moon was actually the Blessed Boy in the Moon for the ancient priests and worshipers of Antinous. This week, both Venus and Mars align in conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn against the background of the THE STAR OF ANTINOUS in Capricorn. This planetary configuration has not occurred for many centuries and certainly will not occur again during our lifetimes. This is the most explosive week of the year. There might literally be explosions or at least volcanic eruptions when the love goddess and the warrior god team up with the lord of the underworld. Pent-up anger bursts out into all-out armed conflict. This is a classic textbook recipe for rebellion, financial chaos and terrorist attacks. It definitely spells trouble for the world's hot spots and for reckless tyrants. The threat of assassination looms large, as does the danger of terrorism. You need to be on guard for outbursts of rage. The important thing is to be aware where your rage is coming from. Don't vent your rage on innocent victims. Instead, be consciously aware of the source of your anger so that you can harness the powerful energies of Mars/Pluto to carry out constructive projects you have been stalling on for way too long.

This weekend, the Sun aligns with Jupiter in open-minded Aquarius to enhance your consciousness. This is your lucky day for a new start. Remember the birth of Dionysus! In Classical Mythology Zeus/Jupiter often visited mortals in disguise, for his radiance was too dazzling for mortals to behold ... rather like the Sun in conjunction with Jupiter. In the story of the birth of Dionysus, we see that Semele Princess of Thebes had been made pregnant by Jupiter in disguise. Semele later became curious about his true appearance. So, Semele decided to ask Zeus to grant her a wish, and he took an oath on the river Styx that he would give her anything. She asked that he appear to her in all his glory. Jupiter was forced to comply. However, mortals could not look upon Jupiter without bursting into flames, which is what happened to Semele. Jupiter managed to save the unborn baby by sewing it inside his thigh. A few months later, god Dionysus was born, who managed to save his mother from the Underworld and brought her to Mount Olympus, where she became the goddess Thyone. Antinous traditionally has been identified with Dionysus "Twice Born" of mortal woman and divine radiance. Antinous/Dionysus reminds you that you are HOMOTHEOSIS ... The Spirit of the Jackal in Antinous oracular arts is the embodiment of cunning and skill and sleight-of-hand and being slightly dodgy and sneaky but also being incredibly adept and learned in the ways of the world. The Gemini First Quarter Moon is the March moon of the Trickster, who taunts and teases, who plays tricks, who leads the soul through dark and treacherous passages ... who is more treacherous than any Underworld foe ... but whose cunning enables him to bring his charges to their goal. Meditations and rituals carried out tonight are best suited for looking beyond the the veil of lies and deceit that others (or we ourselves) throw over our eyes to prevent us from seeing clearly.
