Overnight Wednesday-Thursday, Mars the planet of action will enter Taurus and remain there until March 4th. When the God of War meets the sign of the Bull, things can plod along slowly and move at a snail's pace. While it may seem like slow going, it is a wonderful time to tackle those projects that need endurance and stamina. Mars is all about action, ambition, impulse and drive. The planet Mars was named for the ancient Roman God of War. When channeled improperly Mars energy can lead to excessive anger, violence and war. However, when used constructively this energy can invoke passion, motivation and determination. Now consider the energy of Taurus. The Bull is a stubborn and territorial animal; large and capable of aggression when provoked. While it may seem like slow going, it is a wonderful time to tackle those projects that need endurance and stamina. So putting the forces of Mars and the sign of the Bull together is a little bit like having an irresistible force meet an immovable object. Mars wants to go, go, go and Taurus wants to stubbornly remain still. Things will seem like they are at a standoff during this period. However that doesn’t mean you won't get things accomplished.

On Friday, it's time to take advantage of those Clearance Sales and buy a new smartphone, tablet or other communications device when Mercury enters the tech-friendly and communications-conscious sign of Aquarius. This is the best time of year for communications technology upgrades. But hurry, because Mercury leaves Aquarius on March 15th and dives into the dreamy waters of Pisces.Also on Friday, Venus (love, sexual attraction, wealth) enters Capricorn (business, practicality, hard reality) and stays there until February 1st. The goddess of love will have us reviewing and renewing many of our relationship commitments and obligations in very tangible and concrete ways. Venus in Capricorn knows the laws of sexuality in any given culture, and is skilled at bending those laws to their benefit. Capricorn wants to be the boss of itself (and possibly you) and generally goes it alone, which is an interesting modus operandi for the planet that tells us about how we do partnership. It becomes a pleasure." This is an aspect which encourages people to say vicious and intentionally hurtful things. People are overly persnickety and bitchy and downright mean. You'll be amazed how true this is.Also on Saturday, Venus trine Mars creates a magical moment. It is possible now to take a balanced approach to conflict, problems and projects that require effort. This can combine both a gentle touch and firm action, sensitivity and forcefulness. Negotiation and interaction with others could be aggressive and determined now, but also balanced with sensitivity and style. Any expressions of anger, frustration or discontent are more likely to be tempered with fairness, moderation and composure.

The week's celestial configurations are tainted by a dire Mars square Saturn aspect ... something which previously last occurred in the third week of January 2017 ... inauguration of the US president ... and it is a configuration which always spells trouble. This 90-degree square aspect is exact today ... and it does not bode well for the transition of power. Mars-square-Saturn is like driving down a highway with one foot on the brake and the other on the accelerator because Mars wants to press the pedal to the metal, while Saturn wants a cautious, go-slow approach. The result is pent-up frustration which boils over into rage. Open warfare breaks out not only in crisis regions of the world, but also in street traffic, in your work place and in your domestic relationship. Cold-blooded, vengeful wrath strangles out rational thought.Also on Wednesday, we come to the Capricorn New Moon, which we call the LAMIA MOON of dark magic. Meditation and rituals conducted tonight are best suited for rooting out malaise and sickness and for diminishing evil sendings. It pushes us to dig deep and really face the problems and the roadblocks that have impeded progress. It forces us to re-evaluate our values and our priorities. From now on, you can expect only the "usual chaos" in your life, and not the shocking chaos that has occurred since 15 August 2020, when Retrograde Uranus began.
