JANUARY 3rd to 13th, 2013
THURSDAY January 3rd 2012
On Thursday a startling new idea will come to you from out of no where when Mercury forms a sextile to Uranus. This will most likely be something that comes to you from some Aquarian source such as a social network. This is a propitious day to overcome your stubborn inhibitions and finally register to follow Antinous the Gay God on FACEBOOK and TWITTER.
FRIDAY January 4th 2012
On Friday hope and confidence fill the atmosphere when we come to the LIBRA THIRD QUARTER MOON, which we call the CROSSROADS MOON. It is a time for setting a new course, possibly changing course, setting out in a new direction. It is about making a decision. The key is not to worry about which choice to make. The key is to make a choice and go ahead with it. This air of fearless optimism is underscored by a trine between Mars and Jupiter. Remember that song from the musical "HAIR" back in the '60s: "... when Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars."
SATURDAY/SUNDAY January 5th/6th 2012
On Saturday and Sunday the optimism of that Mars/Jupiter aspect creates a joyful glow for a power-filled weekend. Inventive Mercury aligns in conjunction with renovation-prone Pluto in practical Capricorn. This alignment gives you the impetus you need to find new solutions to old problems and to jetison tired-out notions.
MONDAY January 7th 2012
On Monday Mars and Saturn form a 90-degree square angle to each other which casts a pall over the entire week — with suspicious Scorpio Saturn draining energy levels from normally ambitious Aquarius Mars. Suspicion and jealousy are rife and you find it hard to muster the energy you need to get things done.
TUESDAY January 8th 2012
On Tuesday the Mars/Saturn square continues to sap your energy levels. The Sagittarius Moon tries hard to jump-start your inner battery with a strong aspect to Jupiter, but you may find it hard to get meaningful work done today.
WEDNESDAY January 9th 2012
On Wednesday Venus leaves joyous Sagittarius and reluctantly enters dry and dusty Capricorn where, for the next four weeks, Venus will be more interested in practical function than in beauteous form.
THURSDAY January 10th 2012
On Thursday a slight whiff of romance fills the air when Venus forms a sexy sextile to dreamy Neptune while ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD is in positive aspects to both planets. We see "a slight whiff" because Venus left buoyant Sagittarius on Wednesday and is now in sober Capricorn. Sadge Venus says, "Let's go for it!" While Cap Venus says, "Let's make sure we have all our visas and insurance and paperwork in order before we go for anything!"
FRIDAY January 11th 2012
On Friday we come to one of the most important days in the Religion of Antinous calendar when the Sun aligns with the STAR OF ANTINOUS in Capricorn. This is the end of the 72-day mummification process which began with the death of Antinous in October. As Sacred Synchronicity would have it, Friday is when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD aligns with the Sun and the Star of Antinous for the CAPRICORN NEW MOON. This is the Lunar Phase which, in Antinous Moon Magic, is called the LAMIA MOON. This is the stern New Moon of stringent witchcraft and magic. It is the powerful wizard's moon which admonishes us to bring light to darkness.
SATURDAY January 12th 2012
On Saturday the powerful energies of the LAMIA MOON give way to a party atmosphere when the Capricorn Moon forms positive aspects with impulsive Uranus and joyful Jupiter. With a rather tense work week behind you, you'll be ready to put on your cha-cha heels and hit the clubs.
SUNDAY January 13th 2012
On Sunday Capricorn Venus squares off against surprise-filled Uranus to create potentially unsettling revelations about relationships with friends, co-workers or partners. But the revelations will not be TOO troubling. That's because the Moon is VOID OF COURSE for the entire day Sunday in most global time zones. Remember we always say you should think of ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD as your favorite rock or pop star giving a concert. The VOC MOON is the break between sets. The singer goes back stage for a costume change and psychs themselves up for the next set. Meanwhile, the audience is waiting impatiently out front while video projections and doo-wah girls fill the interlude. That's what a VOID OF COURSE MOON feels like. Nothing much will happen during this VOC period. Nothing very bad will happen. But nothing very good either.
SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:
Another exciting week lies ahead between January 14th and 20th when Venus aligns with Pluto in Capricorn on January 16th to spawn rumblings which send tremors through business and personal relations. On a lighter note, Mercury leaves dour Capricorn on January 18th and flies into airy, inquisitive Aquarius for the next three weeks. More details next time ....
