Antinous Astrology Forecast

NOVEMBER 12 to 22, 2015

On Thursday a quantum shift occurs when Mars leaves persnickety Virgo and enters diplomatic Libra, where the war god will remain until 4 January 2016. This means that in the coming months it will be easier to find elegant compromises to resolve difficult conflicts with a minimum of effort. That is very much needed on the global level, of course But in your personal life, Libra Mars helps you to free yourself of old complications which have kept you bound and tied up.

On Friday you will really want to get together with good friends when caring-sharing Venus forms an exceedingly fortuitous sextile aspect with insightful Saturn. We're talking about long-term friends, people you have known and loved the longest — or people with whom you really want to form a long-lasting friendship.

This weekend starts off with a bang when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms a trine aspect with surprise-filled Uranus on Saturday which encourages you to waste time, over indulge and spend money frivolously — which is not necessarily a bad thing if you have had your nose to the grindstone all week and need to let loose. But be careful overnight Saturday/Sunday when the Moon is in a 90-degree right angle to Mars and Venus. Moon square Mars and Venus is a recipe for strife, aggression and arguments.

On Monday and Tuesday your brain is ablaze with often confusing and conflicting ideas when Retrograde Mercury aligns with the Sun. Old astrology texts dating back to Ancient Rome call this a potentially hazardous time, and speak of a "Scorched Mercury" which impairs communications and judgment. But in ANTINOUS MOON MAGIC, we see that very differently. This Sun/Mercury conjunction is indeed intense, but in a positive way. Antinous/Mercury focuses the gay spiritual light of his heavenly father Ra-Herakhte right at you. Open your spiritual heart to the light and joy and permit it to burn away all doubt and all fear and trepidation. Most people live in spiritual darkness. They are like people who live in caves and are afraid of sunlight because it hurts their eyes. But should we shun the light and stay in the cave with them? Antinous/Mercury says it's safe to open your spiritual eyes — and spiritual heart — and become accustomed to the light.

On Wednesday the fog bank rolls in when Neptune goes Direct. Nebulous Neptune ... the planet of illusion and confusion ... has been retrograde since June 12, which has required us to get real for the last five months. Neptune is the dreamy planet, which at its best makes us see beyond the tangible world and explore spirituality, faith and fantasy. The dark side of Neptune is that its love of illusion can inspire us to escape to alternate realities we've created for ourselves ... a.k.a. delusions. So yes, with Neptune moving direct it can once again encourage us to live in denial. We all have specific fears and hangups we don't want to deal with ... perhaps you ignore nagging financial issues or tell yourself that your less-than-satisfying romantic relationship is exactly what you need. Chances are, Neptune is behind any excuses you invent to support these ideas. The good news about Neptune Direct is that overt expressions of idealism, compassion, imagination and spirituality come more easily with Neptune's forward turn. Dreams held silently in our hearts may slowly rise to the surface where we can take steps to turn them into reality.

On Thursday we come to the Aquarius First Quarter Moon ... the Lunar Phase in Antinous Moon Magic which we call the altruistic and magnanimous CONCORDIA MOON ... the perfect night for laying enmity and strife to rest ... and open your heart to healing love.

On Friday Mercury leaves dour Scorpio and wings its way into high-spirited Sagittarius. No matter what your Sun sign is, this abrupt change will lighten your spirits. It is like tossing and turning all night and then seeing the pink glow of dawn on the eastern horizon. Everything will be better. Now, this does not mean that Scorpio Mercury is bad. On the contrary, Scorpio Mercury urges you to probe into deep thoughts and dig out the truth, even if it is unpleasant. That is very important. But Sagittarius Mercury urges you to look on the bright side, to find joy in your life and pursue the light at the end of the tunnel. The only disadvantage to Sadge Mercury is a certain tendency to be so busy talking about the light at the end of the tunnel that you miss the freeway exit to the tunnel — but Sagittarius Mercury is always optimistic and will find an innovative way to reach the destination.

On Saturday, right in time for the weekend, Venus and Pluto square off at a 90-degree right angle. This creates an explosive situation for interpersonal relationships. It begins at the breakfast table over corn flakes when you say you want to go shopping and your alpha-male boyfriend starts in saying that it's typical of you to go off and spend money and waste time while he has to clean the house. Next thing you know, the two of you have been screaming at each other for hours. Remember that I said astrology is a tool to master such situations. Venus-square-Pluto is a golden opportunity to rediscover the things you love about your lover. Okay, so he's a bitch-on-wheels. So what? He's your bitch-on-wheels and the two of you love each other. Make a stab at helping him clean the house — and sneak online and buy needless stuff on eBay when he's not looking.

On Sunday, the Festive Season officially starts (astrologically speaking) when the Sun leaves suspicious Scorpio and enters sunny Sagittarius. The next four weeks will be a time of travel, questing, exploring new avenues and generally being open to blessings.

Another exciting week lies ahead between November 23 and 29 when we come to the Gemini Full Moon, which is the CATAMITUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic, the moon signaling where change will occur in your life during the coming year. This is a powerfully magical moon for working gay magical spells in the Gemini areas of friendships, finances and getting in contact with prospective lovers .... More details next time ....
