ASTRO FORECAST: NOV. 19 — DEC. 6, 2015

Antinous Astrology Forecast

NOV. 19 to DEC. 6, 2015

On Thursday we come to the Aquarius First Quarter Moon ... the Lunar Phase in Antinous Moon Magic which we call the altruistic and magnanimous CONCORDIA MOON ... the perfect night for laying enmity and strife to rest ... and open your heart to healing love.

On Friday Mercury leaves dour Scorpio and wings its way into high-spirited Sagittarius. No matter what your Sun sign is, this abrupt change will lighten your spirits. It is like tossing and turning all night and then seeing the pink glow of dawn on the eastern horizon. Everything will be better. Now, this does not mean that Scorpio Mercury is bad. On the contrary, Scorpio Mercury urges you to probe into deep thoughts and dig out the truth, even if it is unpleasant. That is very important. But Sagittarius Mercury urges you to look on the bright side, to find joy in your life and pursue the light at the end of the tunnel. The only disadvantage to Sadge Mercury is a certain tendency to be so busy talking about the light at the end of the tunnel that you miss the freeway exit to the tunnel — but Sagittarius Mercury is always optimistic and will find an innovative way to reach the destination.

On Saturday, right in time for the weekend, Venus and Pluto square off at a 90-degree right angle. This creates an explosive situation for interpersonal relationships. It begins at the breakfast table over corn flakes when you say you want to go shopping and your alpha-male boyfriend starts in saying that it's typical of you to go off and spend money and waste time while he has to clean the house. Next thing you know, the two of you have been screaming at each other for hours. Remember that I said astrology is a tool to master such situations. Venus-square-Pluto is a golden opportunity to rediscover the things you love about your lover. Okay, so he's a bitch-on-wheels. So what? He's your bitch-on-wheels and the two of you love each other. Make a stab at helping him clean the house — and sneak online and buy needless stuff on eBay when he's not looking.

On Sunday, the Festive Season officially starts (astrologically speaking) when the Sun leaves suspicious Scorpio and enters sunny Sagittarius. The next four weeks will be a time of travel, questing, exploring new avenues and generally being open to blessings.

On Monday, you may experience love at first sight when love planet Venus is in opposition to spontaneous Uranus. But this opposition can just as easily also bring about instant divorce. Whatever happens in your relationships (including business relationships), it will be sudden and unforeseen.

Tuesday is a great day to launch projects which require lots of planning and preparation as Mars forms an ambition-filled sextile aspect with Saturn. You will be energized with perseverance and endurance for the long haul.

On Wednesday we come to the Gemini Full Moon, which is the CATAMITUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic, the moon signaling where change will occur in your life during the coming year. This is a powerfully magical moon for working gay magical spells in the Gemini areas of friendships, finances and getting in contact with prospective lovers.

On Thursday and Friday, which is the start of the long Thanksgiving weekend in the US and also the birthday of Antinous (27 November), you can lose sight of the forest for all the trees when Saturn is at right angles to nebulous Neptune. This can lead to misjudging (for example) how much food you will need for Thanksgiving. On the interpersonal level, this means you tend to misinterpret or overlook the intentions of other people. On the larger level, this means carelessness and miscalculations can lead to accidents with far-reaching ramifications. Drive carefully!

This weekend you see the world through rose-colored glasses when the Sun is at right angles to Neptune. It's just as well that banks are closed on the weekend because Sun-square-Neptune is the kind of aspect that occurs when Jack sells the family cow for a handful of "magic" beans. In the fairy tale, of course, the beans turn out to be magic after all. But on this weekend the beans aren't magic at all. If you head to the post-Thanksgiving sales this weekend, it might be a good idea to watch your emotions and not let yourself be carried away. It might also be a good idea to watch your wallet and not let it be lifted by some pickpocket!

On Monday, we come to our annual reality check when the Sun aligns with Saturn. This year's Sun/Saturn rendezvous is in the jovial sign of Sagittarius. The result is that Saturn floods you with doubts and caution while the Sun showers you with over-confidence and over-optimism. You find yourself wanting desperately to achieve long-stalled goals ... but you are plagued by doubts and insecurities. You crave recognition, but you find it difficult to cope with praise.

On Tuesday, you can expect surprise tidings from the past when Mercury is in a very conducive karmic-healing trine to Retrograde Uranus. Mercury-trine-Uranus always creates optimal energies for breaking down encrusted old structures and for mentally visualizing bold new solutions. Because Uranus is Retrograde, the emphasis is on the past. Retrograde Uranus opens the portals of Time and Space and Mercury enables you to go through those portals to engage in healing magic involving your own past, or past-life incarnations. Even if you do not work any magic, you can definitely count on receiving a message involving someone or something from the past.

Overnight Wednesday/Thursday, we come to the we come to the Virgo Third Quarter Moon, which brings down powerful healing energies. In Antinous Moon Magic we call this the AESCULAPIUS MOON in honor of the Classical god of the physician's art. Meditation and rituals carried out tonight are ideal for bringing down healing energies for yourself and those you love.

On Friday, beware of online websites that promote gross exaggerations or promises that sound too good to be true — because most likely they aren't true. That's because Mercury and Jupiter are at right angles on Friday.

On Saturday, the thermometer may say it's cool outside, but the mood is actually hot when Venus leaves even-tempered Libra and dives into the emotional depths of sexy-hot Scorpio. From now until Venus enters Sagittarius on New Year's Eve, you may be surprised by turbulent, deep-seated emotions and even jealousies. Venus becomes the Green-Eyed Goddess when she is in Scorpio. She demands faithfulness but is not necessarily faithful herself. Above all, she is deeply passionate. This is a "Golden December" for a wonderfully hot and horny sexual relationship.

On Sunday, we come to one of the unluckiest days of the year 2015 when aggressive Mars forms a tight, 90-degree square angle to death planet Pluto. This is the textbook recipe for armed conflict, terrorist attacks and economic collapse. One the one hand, there is a powerful yearning for ambition and power. That is a good thing, in general. But on the other hand, there are ruthless people who take advantage of that yearning to push their own agendas for seizing power for their own selfish ends. Quite aside from global politics and economics, you will sense these tensions in your own domestic life and on the job. Remember to keep your head and strive for compromise while others lose their heads or ram their heads through the wall.

Another exciting week lies ahead between December 7 and 13 when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD aligns in conjunction with his heavenly father Ra-Herakhte for the SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON. In Antinous Moon Magic, this is the lunar phase we call the FORTUNA MOON. This is the classic good luck moon of the astrological year .... More details next time ....
