ASTRO FORECAST: JANUARY 1—11, 2015

Antinous Astrology Forecast

JANUARY 1 to 11, 2015

THURSDAY JANUARY 1, 2015

On New Year's Day Mars and Jupiter set the tone for 2015 when they shift into opposition to one another. Mars in free-spirited Aquarius and Jupiter in beamish Leo constitute a very profound omen for the coming year. On the one hand, this configuration empowers people to achieve their goals in life, to make a better life for themselves and to fulfill their destiny. On the other hand, unfortunately, this configuration encourages some people to pursue their selfish goals at the expensive of everyone around them. This is a recipe for wars of aggression ... as well as for battles for justice and equality. Remember what the Romans said: "audaci favet fortuna" ... fortune favors the audacious.

FRIDAY JANUARY 2, 2015

On Friday you can forget about getting any work done when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD goes VOID OF COURSE for most of the day — causing delays, rescheduling, lost messages and missed opportunities. Remember we always say you should think of ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD as your favorite rock or pop star giving a concert. The VOC MOON is the break between sets. The singer goes back stage for a costume change and psychs themselves up for the next set. Meanwhile, the audience is waiting impatiently out front while video projections and doo-wah girls fill the interlude. That's what a VOID OF COURSE MOON feels like. Nothing much will happen during this VOC period — nothing bad, but nothing good either, just nothing. But on the plus side, a VOC is perfect for meditation, dreamscaping and contacting the spirit world.

SATURDAY JANUARY 3, 2015

On Saturday, we come to one of the two most tense days of the year ... when the Sun forms a 90-degree square angle to Uranus. This happens twice a year. It is a cosmic signal for you to break free from restrictions which have prevented you from moving forward. The good news is that strange and wacky and unexpected things can happen. The bad news is that ... well ... strange and wacky and unexpected things can happen. But, as the Divine Hadrian knew, astrology is a tool for anticipating upcoming influences. Instead of worrying about a "bad surprise", you should ask your Unconscious mind (or your Magical Self if you are a Gay Wizard) to ensure that the upcoming "surprise" is of a pleasant nature rather than an unpleasant nature. That is, after all, the purpose of astrology.

On a more positive note, Venus leaves dour Capricorn on Saturday and sashays into free-wheeling Aquarius. Almost immediately, Venus aligns with Saturn in Aquarius, meaning you will meet someone from your past, or perhaps an older person, who will be a wellspring of bright new ideas and inspiration for you in the coming weeks.

SUNDAY JANUARY 4, 2015

On Sunday, we come to the first Full Moon of 2015 ... the Cancer Full Moon. It is the lunar phase we call the LUNUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic — the Moon of Moons! This is a Full Moon which brings out powerful emotions ... Because this Full Moon always occurs during December/January, it is emotional farewell to the old year and heart-felt welcoming of the new year ... You will shed sentimental tears for loved ones you have lost during the past year, not to mention a job or other things you may have lost ... Tonight's Lunus Moon is a propitious time for meditations and rituals delving into your emotional state of being, and also for intuitive or clairvoyant trances. Also tonight, Mercury is in a positive sextile aspect to Saturn, empowering you to perceive the truth on an otherwise dark and moonless night.

MONDAY JANUARY 5, 2015

On Monday, it's time to take advantage of those January Clearance Sales and buy a new smartphone, tablet or other communications device when Mercury enters the tech-friendly and communications-conscious sign of Aquarius. This is the best time of year for communications technology upgrades. Ordinarily, Mercury spends only three or four weeks in each sign, but this year Mercury goes "Retrograde" (backwards as seen from Earth) and dawdles in Aquarius for nearly six weeks ... from now until March 13th when Mercury enters dreamy Pisces and your mental faculties get a bit foggy.

TUESDAY JANUARY 6, 2015

On Tuesday, the pace picks up decidedly when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD is in opposition to both Mercury and Venus, causing a bit of static electricity at the work place. It's like when you rub the soles of your shoes on a carpet on a cold day and then touch someone. But don't worry! Those sparks may set off a nice post-holiday romance.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 7, 2015

On Wednesday, get ready for a post-holiday surprise when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD and Uranus form a positive trine aspect which means anything is possible.

THURSDAY JANUARY 8, 2015

On Thursday, the first assertiveness test of the New Year comes your way when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD aligns in conjunction with Jupiter before going opposite to Mars. You can expected to be tested on whether you will stand up for something ... or someone ... of true importance to you.

FRIDAY JANUARY 9, 2015

On Friday, the first work week of the New Year ends on a somewhat ambiguous note when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms a tense square aspect to stubborn Saturn while being in opposition to nebulous Neptune. You may leave work with the feeling that you forgot to finish something important.

SATURDAY JANUARY 10, 2015

On Saturday, you will be eager to roll up your sleeves and do something practical around the house ... or with the car ... or else to head off to an electronics store to take advantage of Aquarius Mercury's insights into finding the best deals on that much-needed new computer, phone or other digital device.

SUNDAY JANUARY 11, 2015

On Sunday, you will want to hook up the new internet radio sound system you bought at a January Clearance Sale on Saturday (with expert advice from Aquarius Mercury) and invite friends over for an impromptu afternoon tea dance when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms an "I can do anything" sextile aspect with Sagittarius Saturn.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:

Another exciting week lies ahead between January 12 and 18 when we come to the Libra Third Quarter Moon. This is the lunar phase we call the CROSSROADS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic ... It is symbolized by the "Herme", the ithyphallic stele of Mercury which guarded intersections of Roman roads ... Tonight is a propitious time for setting a new course, possibly changing course, setting out in a new direction. It is about making a decision. The key is not to worry about which choice to make. The key is to make a choice and go ahead with it .... More details next time ....

HADRIAN/JUPITER BOOSTS YOUR OPTIMISM
DURING 2015 'THE YEAR OF JUPITER'

LUCKY Jupiter is the astrological ruler of the Year 2015, ushering in a boisterous year of enhanced optimism and lofty dreams ... even if those dreams may be a bit overly optimistic and too lofty to be achieved fully.

The Year 2014 was ruled by Saturn and you will have noticed what a generally dire and dismal year it was globally ... and perhaps for you personally.

Saturn is the merciless task master and the stern teacher who demands strict obedience. You probably noticed that those people who were flexible enough to yield to the hard lessons that Saturn taught last year managed to come through almost unscathed.

But those who were inflexible and deaf to Saturn's lessons suffered terrible setbacks ... as headlines of wars, economic strife and rampant epidemics showed.

In comes the Emperor!

According to a rather obscure astrological text called the Galendarjum Oeconomicum Practicum Perpetuum, 2015 is the Year of Jupiter, meaning the atmosphere will be vastly different from that of last year.

The German alchemist and astrologer Dr. Mauritius Knauer devised his perpetual calendar based on planetary rulerships in the late 18th Century.

According to his Galendarjum Oeconomicum Practicum Perpetuum, 2008 was the last Year of Jupiter ... so think back to that year and you can anticipate the flavor of the year ahead in your own life.

Astrologers like to call Jupiter a "lucky" planet, but you must never forget that Jupiter/Zeus is king of the Gods ... ruler of the universe ... just as Emperor Hadrian was called the earthly Jupiter and ruler of the Roman world.

Just like an Emperor of Rome, Jupiter brings good fortune to those who understand who is the boss and who are willing to play by his rules. And the chief rule is to know yourself and understand what it is that you truly want out of life.

The "Good Fortune" that Jupiter conveys is not always measurable in money or in ingots of gold. Jupiter is more interested in inner richness and spiritual wealth and wisdom.

Remember the philosopher Diogenes, who shunned outward trappings of wealth and lived in a barrel.

It is said that Alexander the Great went in person to see Diogenes and found him squatting in the sun.

Diogenes glanced up when he saw the entourage coming towards him, and fixed his eyes upon Alexander.

The conquerer offered to give him anything ... riches, a palace, anything his heart desired.

"The only thing I desire," replied Diogenes, "is for you to move to one side. You're blocking my sunlight."

Alexander replied: "If I were not Alexander, I would be Diogenes."

Like Alexander, not many of us are willing to give up our livelihood to go live in the gutter without protection from the elements.

But Jupiter's "Good Fortune" has a deeper and more mystical side to it.

Those who discover their inner riches tend very often to use that inner wealth to empower themselves to success in the material world.

All you need is the gumption to seize opportunities ... or make opportunities.

Remember what the Romans said: "audaci favet fortuna" ... fortune favors the audacious.

This Year of Jupiter 2015 is a year filled with opportunities just waiting to be seized by those who are audacious enough to grasp them.

RED STONES FOR THE INVICTUS MOON
By Our Crystal Meditation Advisor Martin Campbell

TONIGHT's Invictus Moon phase can be characterised by being Indomitable, unbeatable, unconquerable and assertive.

These energies can all be seen by some as domineering and by others as the ability to achieve things. Neither are right or wrong. They all can be part of your innate response to people or the way you learn to become - creating and aura of strength around yourself.

Whether you are already a vision of strength or are working on it, I would suggest reaching for red stones and crystals.

I would particularly suggest Fire Agate (above) – this allows particular meditative focus on strength whilst also having a function where it mellows the soul.

All this positive strength can allows you either smash away illusions or create absolute clarity about the situation you are in or striving for.

Jade is the stone recommended for meditating during this highly enlightened state.

Green Jade especially channels passion into constructive approaches to situations with the people around you whether family, friends, colleagues or enemies.

It is not surprising, therefore, that Chinese people have held Green Jade as sacred for over a millennia.

Once you are moving into, or have found, your place of positivity then I suggest that you the crystal which is my personal favourite – Carnelian.

Red or orange Carnelian helps you to become full of life force and vitality. It helps you to focus on positive outcomes, joy and fun approaches to life.

Love and Life,
MARTIN

THE ANTINOUS INVICTUS MOON
THE ARIES FIRST QUARTER MOON

TONIGHT's Aries First Quarter Moon is the Lunar Phase we call the INVICTUS MOON, the Antinous Moon Magic spirit of Mithras.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of Invictus is the sonlight which gives the Moon its light. It is the spirit of the sun god.

Invictus is the bold light that shines forth from a gay man's eyes to illuminate those around him. It is the warmth of your every being.

It is the optimism which brightens a dismal day when things are going wrong. Invictus is indomitable, unbeatable, unconquerable.

It is a determined spirit which never admits defeat, never gives up, never quits.

Invictus is a beacon which dispels darkness and casts out shadows. It illuminates all dark corners and puts light on the deepest and darkest secrets. It brings everything out into daylight and sends creatures of darkness scurrying for shelter.

Invictus is constancy and dependability. It is that which can be relied upon. It is a source of ceaseless light, warmth and beneficence.

It is that which dispels all doubts and inconsistencies. Invictus is consistency itself, steadiness and permanence. Invictus is all things bright and good and the bringer of all joy.

ASTRO FORECAST: DEC. 24, 2014—JAN. 4, 2015

Antinous Astrology Forecast

DEC. 24 to JAN. 4, 2015

WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY DEC. 24-25, 2014

This Yuletide there's no time for holiday sentimentality when serious-minded Capricorn Mercury aligns with Pluto and both are in a tight, 90-degree right angle to rebellious Aries Uranus. Tempers will flare and voices will be raised and tears will be shed. If you are planning to spend the Yuletide with blood relatives you can expect old resentments and old grudges to boil over into brand new rage issues. A "home alone" option might mean much less wear and tear on your emotions.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 26, 2014

On Friday the Yuletide tensions begin to ease when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD leaves a stressful aspect to Saturn and forms more pleasant aspects to the Sun and dreamy Neptune. It is a good day for chilling — a bottle of champagne, preferably.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 27, 2014

On Saturday the Capricorn Sun forms a dreamy sextile aspect to intuitive Neptune, inviting you to reflect introspectively about the old year and start dreaming about the new year. This is the perfect evening for oracle games, scrying, dreamscaping and fortune-telling.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 28, 2014

On Sunday we come to the Aries First Quarter Moon, which is the Lunar Phase we call the INVICTUS MOON ,,, the Antinous Moon Magic spirit of Mithras ... because this lunar phase always occurs in December or January near the Solstice Birthday of Mithras ... TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY DEC. 30/31, 2014

On the last two days of the year the planetary configurations favor quiet reflection and meditation on the past year as ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD embraces Venus and also forms positive aspects to the Sun and Pluto.

THE CAPRICORN NEW MOON
THE ANTINOUS LAMIA MOON

TONIGHT's Capricorn New Moon is the lunar phase which in Antinous Moon Magic is called the LAMIA MOON of dark magic.

Meditation and rituals conducted tonight are best suited for rooting out malaise and sickness and for diminishing evil sendings. Look for areas in your life where you may be detrimental to yourself, may be working against yourself or may be making yourself sick, perhaps literally so.

The Lamia Moon helps you to focus on those areas and drain them of their debilitating energies. It helps you to look squarely at yourself to see what is draining you of your vitality ... so that you can chart a course towards healing and recovery ... rather than further diminishment.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Lamia Moon is vicious negativity which attacks vitality. It is the Spirit of torment which seeks to dissipate and weaken. It is malaise and malevolence.

The spirit of the Lamia Moon incorporates all negativity of body and soul. It is destructive thought patterns. It is the instigator of bad habits which impair not only physical health but also mental or spiritual health.

It is sickness in the broadest sense, but it is by no means limited to physical ailment. It is a disease of the spirit. It is the debilitating failure to shake off a "sick" situation.

However, the spirit of the Lamia Moon also has the incredible ability to "sicken" and diminish harmful forces.

Just as a poison can cure, and just as a vaccine uses disease cells to build immunity to those very cells, the Lamia Moon spirit has the ability to weaken forces which are detrimental. It is the spirit of your body's immune system, waging a ceaseless and merciless battle against intruders.

The Lamia Moon spirit is debilitating and it is cruel. Yes, the Lamia spirit can be harmful, but it can also be a vital ally.

All meditations and rituals conducted during the cycle of the Capricorn New Moon are best aimed at enlisting this spirit to be your valiant ally in helping you to identify those inner areas of yourself which are weakening you from the inside out.

ASTRO FORECAST: DECEMBER 18—28, 2014

Antinous Astrology Forecast

DECEMBER 18 to 28, 2014

THURSDAY DECEMBER 18, 2014

On Thursday stubborn Capricorn Mercury may cause you to butt heads with others at the work place when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms tense aspects with aggressive Mars.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 19, 2014

On Friday the work week ends on an industrious note when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD squares off against Jupiter and later aligns in conjunction with hard-working Saturn.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 20, 2014

On Saturday your emotions get their knickers in a twist when love planet Venus forms a 90-degree square angle to impetuous Uranus before later aligning in conjunction with Pluto. This once-a-year Venus/Pluto rendezvous is always a time of transformation in matters of love and money. On the downside, it also produces feelings of jealousy, envy, possessiveness and greed.

SUNDAY/MONDAY DEC. 21/22, 2014

Overnight Sunday/Monday the Sun enters Capricorn for the December Solstice ... and within minutes old Sol aligns with ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD for the Solstice New Moon ... the Capricorn New Moon ... the lunar phase which in Antinous Moon Magic is called the LAMIA MOON of dark magic. Meditation and rituals conducted tonight are best suited for rooting out malaise and sickness and for diminishing evil sendings. Look for areas in your life where you may be detrimental to yourself, may be working against yourself or may be making yourself sick, perhaps literally so. Also on Monday Uranus ends the Retrograde phase it started last July 22 and begins going forward again, as seen from the Earth. As Uranus stands still and turns around, it encourages us to reflect upon the past five months to discern its action in our lives. Uranus is the great awakener, the cosmic alarm clock which shatters our cozy sleep to remind us there are places to go, people to meet, things to experience which can never be encounter if we stay where we are. When retrograde, those encounters occur within ourselves, with parts of our psyche we have failed to acknowledge or honour. Think about the changes that have occurred within you over the past five months ... as the changes now become external.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 23, 2014

On Tuesday Saturn — the ruler of maturity, growth and challenges — leaves watery Scorpio for fiery Sagittarius, where it will stay for three years — until December 19, 2017. Saturn visits each zodiac sign every 28-30 years, so its arrival heralds a definitive two-to-three year period that reveals where our toughest lessons will be. Saturn’s last tour of Sagittarius was November 1985 until November 1988, so if you were born then, dial back through your personal history. You may see recurring themes, or issues that resurface. Saturn spotlights your "life's work," so stand tall and get cracking on the next round of this soul assignment.

Saturn and Sagittarius are strange bedfellows, because Sagittarius is the sign of optimism and expansion, while Saturn is all about restriction and harsh reality checks. But this blending of opposites could actually strike a healthy balance. Under Saturn’s measured approach, we may see the combustible global politics and uprising settle down again. Saturn can influence leaders, or leadership style, and with philosophical Sagittarius here, we may see some fascinating people rise through the ranks. Of course, as a brash fire-sign, Sagittarius can be rather dogmatic and outspoken, so we might also see a few grandstanding “armchair philosophers” who are more talk than action.

On the personal level, get ready to see major structures in your personal and/or professional life take on a whole, mature new shape. For the past two years, Scorpio Saturn was all about the little details, but now for the next three years you will find yourself focusing on the big picture as Saturn moves through Sagittarius.

WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY DEC. 24-25, 2014

On Wednesday there's no time for holiday sentimentality when serious-minded Capricorn Mercury aligns with Pluto and both are in a tight, 90-degree right angle to rebellious Aries Uranus. Tempers will flare and voices will be raised and tears will be shed. If you are planning to spend the Yuletide with blood relatives you can expect old resentments and old grudges to boil over into brand new rage issues. HEALING ENERGY FROM THESE CRYSTALS
By Our Crystal Meditation Adviser Martin Campbell

THERE are two consecutive moon cycles to ponder and seek inspiration from. They are both focused on disease, sickness and healing. The AESCULAPIUS MOON with its focus on healing energy The LAMIA MOON with its focus on sickness and disease.

It is, therefore, sensible to consider the moons alongside each other and find crystals that you can meditate with, hold or surround yourself with during these phases.

Hopefully they can guard you from ill health, help cure any illness you may have and find spiritual connections which may help you do this alone or in connection with other spiritually connected souls around the world.

AGATE - There are many different types of Agate in many lovely colours. Collectively they help to diminish problems, cleanse your aura and strengthens blood vessels that carry healing white blood cells around the body.

AMETHYST – These are much loved and very common crystals. Some are made into rings or pendants, these will be less powerful than a more natural ‘raw’ crystal (pictured). They cleanse your vital organs and immune system. They are great for the skin and can lower high blood pressure.

FLUORITE – These come in many colours or blends of colours. Collectively they reorganise inappropriate energies in the body by detoxifying the glands.

MOLDAVITE – Now this is a very, very powerful crystal. It is recognised as one of the crystals with highest vibrations available. As a qualified Reiki healer, my partner collects and uses such crystals. It can, however, take quite a while to become attuned to their vast power. If you can become attuned at all – I really can’t because I have a balance problem since my stroke. If I pick up a Moldavite or stand near my partner when he is using one during meditation I get very unbalanced and feel nauseous.

They were formed when a meteorite struck the earth on the Czech Republic and Moldova border in ancient times.  They make you aware of the cause of disease and help you to see any positives held within it.

This may sound contradictory but my stroke released me from a stressful job and has allowed me to write my novel THE LOVE GOD and do things like crystal guidance for you all.

Moldavite is good for healing the diseases of the respiratory tract such as flu. If you can become attuned to them they can help you to realise you are a spiritual being – my partner has advanced his spiritual connections and healing abilities through conscious work and mediation with these incredible stones.

The most powerful are Bezednice Moldavites found in only one small area of the meteorite impact site. They look like little trees – beautiful but hugely expensive – my partner has two and believes they are the most potent. I can’t go near them!

RAINBOW MOONSTONE – These lovely crystals (shown at top of entry) help you to personally connect to healing that you can project locally and globally. It also eyes arteries and veins. Very powerful for using during moon phases but too powerful during full moons.

THE ANTINOUS AESCULAPIUS MOON
THE VIRGO THIRD QUARTER MOON

TONIGHT's Virgo Third Quarter Moon brings down powerful healing energies to ring out the calendar year on a propitious note.

In Antinous Moon Magic, we call this the AESCULAPIUS MOON in honor of the Classical god of the physician's art, Aesculapius.

Aesculapius, as he was called by the Romans, was also called Asklepios or Asclepius by the Greeks.

He was the son of APOLLO and the Trikkaian princess KORONIS

His mother died in labor and was laid out on the pyre to be consumed, but his father rescued the child, cutting him from her womb.

From this he received the name Asklepios "to cut open." The boy was raised by the kentauros (centaur) CHIRON who instructed him in the art of medicine.

Aesculapius grew so skilled in the craft that he was able to restore the dead to life. However, because this was a crime against the natural order, JUPITER/ZEUS destroyed him with a thunderbolt. After his death Aesculapius was placed amongst the stars as OPHIUCHUS ("the Serpent Holder"), sometimes called the 13th sign of the Zodiac

Some say his mother was also set in the heavens as Corvus, the crow (korônê in Greek). Aesculapius' APOTHEOSIS into godhood occurred at the same time. He was sometimes identified with Homer's PAION, the physician of the gods, as well as the Egyptian god of science, architecture and medicine IMHOTEP.

Aesculapius is depicted as a handsome man holding a serpent-entwined staff representing his powers to convert poison (venom) into medicine.

It is the source of the symbol which alchemists, pharmacists and physicians have used throughout the centuries to represent their medicinal prowess

The cult and cult statues of Aesculapius were widespread throughout the ancient world.

In Antinous Moon Magic, each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Aesculapius Moon is the Spirit of Remedies and Repairs.

This Spirit heals all that is ill, it remedies all that is out of order and it repairs all that is broken. This Spirit sees damage and destruction and sets about putting things right again.

It sees ailment and finds a cure. It sees cracks which could lead to catastrophic failure and it mends them before they can spread. It sees suffering and alleviates all that  it can.

This Spirit is the embodiment of the human desire to leave imperfection behind and to become Divine.

Meditation and rituals carried out during the cycle of the Aesculapius Moon are ideal for bringing down healing energies for yourself and others in your life.

THE AMAZING GEMINIDS ARE BACK!

DON'T miss the amazing meteor shower this weekend! Wherever you live on this planet ... Go outside about 20:00 hours (8 p.m.) and look up to see the GEMINIDS ... meteors shooting out of the Constellation Gemini.

The Geminid meteor shower appears every year about this time and is our best shooting star display, with more than 100 meteors appearing each hour. This year they reach their peak December 13/14.

Sadly, if you live in the Northern Hemisphere the winter weather makes viewing bad. But if you are lucky enough to live in the Southern Hemisphere, you have a perfect view on a clear summer night!

This year's spectacle is especially good because it coincides with the Virgo Third Quarter Moon ... the AESCULAPIUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic ... the moon does not rise until midnight, so so there is no moonlight to interfere with the view in the evening.

The Geminids are especially easy to see because they appear during the evening. Most other meteor showers reach their most spectacular only after midnight.

ASTRO FORECAST: DECEMBER 11—22, 2014

Antinous Astrology Forecast

DECEMBER 11 to 22, 2014

THURSDAY DECEMBER 11, 2014

On Thursday the mood turns upbeat when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms positive trine aspects with Uranus, the Sun and Mercury for the start of what should be a fortuitous extended weekend of good fortune.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 12, 2014

On Friday the work week ends on a lucky note when Mercury forms a trine aspect to Jupiter. Your ideas are big and your intentions noble. You are excellent at seeing the big picture, drawing conclusions, problem solving, and making accurate observations. This is a great way to start what promises to be a great weekend.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY DEC. 13/14, 2014

This is the most fortuitous weekend of the year for healing what ails you when the optimistic Sagittarius Sun forms a beneficent trine aspect with lucky Jupiter even as Venus and Neptune are in a dreamy sextile aspect to one another. In addition, we come to the we come to the Virgo Third Quarter Moon, which brings down powerful healing energies. In Antinous Moon Magic we call this the AESCULAPIUS MOON in honor of the Classical god of the physician's art. Meditation and rituals carried out tonight are ideal for bringing down healing energies for yourself and those you love.

MONDAY/TUESDAY DEC. 15/16, 2014

On Monday and Tuesday Uranus and Pluto renew their on-again, off-again square aspect to each other ... a dramatic cosmic configuration which has brought about the "Arab Spring," the Ukraine Crisis, the Ebola panic and other ongoing turmoil for many months now. This 90-degree, right-angle aspect is exact again today to throw open the portals on hatred and enmity. The Earth will shake ... perhaps literally spawning quakes and tremors and tidal waves.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 17, 2014

On Wednesday Mercury gets down to business and moves into Capricorn. From now through January 6 you may find it easier to set helpful limits just as the holiday season reaches its peak. This is a mentally grounded energy that can help you understand the trade-off between short-term pain and long-term gain. Mercury in Capricorn is focused on the future and eager to organize a grounded plan for success. Whatever your goals now ... a calm holiday, a strong start to 2015 ... Capricorn Mercury can help you put a plan into place. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, planet of structure and focus. Mercury has a quicksilver, trickster nature. When in Saturn's sign, Mercury is urged to get organized, so a little effort goes a long way now. Consider the consequences of what you decide, and make sure the costs are truly worth it. A slow-and-steady approach will help you stay calm through the end of the year. Mercury in Capricorn embodies the idea that when you say "no" to one offer, you create space to say "yes" to another. As we move out of the holiday season and into the new year, remember to keep your eye on the prize!

Think about the changes that have occurred within you over the past five months ... as the changes now become external

SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:

Another exciting week lies ahead between December 22 and 27 when when we come to the Aries First Quarter Moon, which is the Lunar Phase we call the "INVICTUS MOON" ,,, the Antinous Moon Magic spirit of Mithras ... because this lunar phase always occurs in December or January near the Solstice Birthday of Mithras ... Invictus is the bold light that shines forth from a gay man's eyes to illuminate those around him. It is the warmth of your every being ... It is the optimism which brightens a dismal day when things are going wrong. Invictus is indomitable, unbeatable, unconquerable ... It is a determined spirit which never admits defeat, never gives up, never quits ... Invictus is a beacon which dispels darkness and casts out shadows ... In Antinous Moon Magic, tonight is an ideal time for meditation and rituals aimed at illuminating opaque situations or questions ... It is well-suited for planning assertive, goal-oriented action aimed at whole-heartedly positive results .... More details next time ....

CATAMITUS MOON CRYSTALS FOR CHANGE
By Our Crystal Meditation Adviser Martin Campbell

THE Catamitus Moon (Gemini Full Moon) signals where change will be occurring … or needs to occur … in your life during the coming year.

If you feel stuck in a rut, crystal meditations during this lunar phase help you to focus on bringing about change … in your living situation … your job and finances … and in your friendships.

I recommend these using these crystals:

Chrysocolla: This beautiful green, blue and turquoise stone helps you to accept change with calmness. It also has an astonishing array of other physical and mental health improving qualities. It is one of my favourites and I have one permanently under my bed pillow!

Lapis Lazuli: These fabulous deep blue stones, flecked with gold, were highly prized by ancient European and middle eastern cultures but especially the Egyptians who incorporated them into stunning items such as Tutankhamun's death mask. They help to bond relationships - especially friendships - by helping you to express emotions.

Citrine: These  yellow/gold crystals form in clusters, in caves, but are usually separated into single arrowhead-like 'points' to sell them. They are wonderful crystals for attracting wealth.

Chinese Feng Shui practitioners suggest placing a Citrine in the 'wealth corner' of your home (the furthest back left point of your home) to bring wealth into your life.

Meditation experts would suggest that you create a 'grid' of Citrines around you as you meditate. A grid is a set of crystals arranged in a regular pattern around you (circle, square, octagon etc.).

Where the crystals have 'points' the points should be arranged so that they align with another point thus creating a matrix or grid pattern. Energy flows best along lines which is why this technique can be so powerful.

Emerald: Highly faceted emeralds can be expensive but 'rough' natural emeralds are much cheaper and more powerful. These beautiful green crystals are known as the crystal of 'successful love'.

It also helps a group of people reach mutual understanding and cooperation so is also useful for the friendships element above.

Love and Light twinkling from facets,
Martin

THE GEMINI FULL MOON
THE CATAMITUS MOON OF ANTINOUS

TONIGHT's Gemini Full Moon is the CATAMITUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic, the moon signaling where change will occur in your life during the coming year.

Each Lunar Phase represents a Divine Spirit or Archetype. The Spirit of the Catamitus Moon is the Winds of Change.

This is the Spirit who is carried away by the Divine, just as Ganymede (Catamitus to the Romans) was carried away by Zeus/Jupiter. This Spirit is plucked and uprooted and is carried off to other realms.

The ancients often compared the relationship of Hadrian and Antinous to that of Jupiter and Catamitus/Ganymede, the beautiful youth who so enraptured Jupiter that the king of the Gods swooped down from Olympus in the form of an eagle and carried Ganymede off to be at his side forever, serving as his cup bearer.

The Constellation of Antinous replaced that of Ganymede upon the divinization of Antinous. At this time of year the Sun is moving inexorably towards this constellation.

This lunar cycle represents is the Spirit which seeks out new horizons simply for sake of change.

This Spirit revels in change for change's sake.

This Spirit knows that existence without change is stagnation and death.

Life is an ever-evolving cycle of waxing and waning, winning and losing, breathing in and breathing out, ceaseless change.

This is a powerfully magical moon for working gay magical spells in the Gemini areas of friendships, finances and getting in contact with prospective lovers.

ASTRO FORECAST: DECEMBER 4—14, 2014

Antinous Astrology Forecast

DECEMBER 4 to 14, 2014

THURSDAY DECEMBER 4, 2014

On Thursday you might want to purchase a lottery ticket when Venus is in a trine with lucky Jupiter even as the optimistic Sagittarius Sun forms a trine with winner-take-all Uranus. Not only is this Venus/Jupiter configuration good for making money, but it also greatly enhances chances of love and romance. So, go ahead — take a chance on love.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 5, 2014

On Friday Mars leaves stodgy Capricorn and enters rational, logical Aquarius — the Warrior Planet Mars becomes First Officer Spock! Aquarius Mars carries out his "battles" on a highly cerebral level. This is the nerd gamer who loves 3-D chess and role-playing games. Mars in Aquarius signals a time when emotions are sublimated as people engage in mind games. That is not a bad thing — as long as people don't get so caught up in the chatter of their brains that they forget to listen to their hearts.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 6, 2014

On Saturday we come to the December Full Moon ... The Gemini Full Moon is the CATAMITUS MOON in Antinous Moon Magic, the moon signaling where change will occur in your life during the coming year. This is a powerfully magical moon for working gay magical spells in the Gemini areas of friendships, finances and getting in contact with prospective lovers.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 7, 2014

Sunday is perfect for a brunch or other social gathering of friends when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms party-prone aspects to Jupiter and Venus.

MONDAY DECEMBER 8, 2014

On Monday the work week gets off to a great start as far as communications are concerned when the Sagittarius Sun aligns with Mercury. This is the best day of the week to make deals and sign agreements.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 9, 2014

On Tuesday Jupiter does a turnaround and goes Retrograde (backwards as seen from Earth) until April 8, 2015, ushering in four months of introspection and review. The downside is that you may feel you are spinning your wheels much of the time. But the good news is that Retrograde Jupiter extends its stay in upbeat Leo for most of that time — so that reviewing old ideas helps you come up with great new ideas during this Retrograde Jupiter phase. When Jupiter turns retrograde, the action of Jupiter is reversed so that the emphasis is upon inner awareness and inner growth. When opportunities arise while Jupiter is retrograde, they are the result of seeds planted in the past from people met or connections made in the past.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 10, 2014

On Wednesday Venus (love, sexual attraction, wealth) enters Capricorn (business, practicality, hard reality) and stays there until January 3, 2015. The goddess of love will have us reviewing and renewing many of our relationship commitments and obligations in very tangible and concrete ways. Venus in Capricorn knows the laws of sexuality in any given culture, and is skilled at bending those laws to their benefit. Capricorn wants to be the boss of itself (and possibly you) and generally goes it alone, which is an interesting modus operandi for the planet that tells us about how we do partnership. This trip through the sign of the Goat can teach us about boundaries within our unions. There's nothing sexier than someone who isn't desperate for our affections while still remaining open, transparent and available for intimacy and spontaneity. Venus in Capricorn can become a bit of a cautious ice queen if it starts to take itself, its work and its ambitions too seriously. Career can become the ultimate turn on, and social status the greatest romance when Capricorn gets out of balance. Venus in Capricorn can teach us how to be one of the most loyal and dedicated partners around.
