ASTRO FORECAST: APRIL 17 — 27, 2014

Antinous Astrology Forecast

APRIL 17 to 27, 2014

THURSDAY APRIL 17, 2014

On Thursday ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD aligns in perfect conjunction with perfectionist Saturn. This is a great day for rolling up your sleeves and getting chores done.

FRIDAY APRIL 18, 2014

Friday night (date night) promises to be hot and romantic when love goddess Venus forms an exuberant trine with lucky Jupiter and a sexy sextile with Pluto.

SATURDAY APRIL 19, 2014

On Saturday the Sun leaves fiery Aries and settles into comfy Taurus for four weeks of couch-potato coziness. Meanwhile, ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD squares off against Venus but forms positive aspects with Mars and Mercury, making Saturday a good day for sprucing things up around the home.

SUNDAY APRIL 20, 2014

On the Christian holiday of Easter on Sunday the ongoing Jupiter/Pluto opposition underscores the theme of death and resurrection ... a theme which will be even more pronounced next week during a Cardinal Grand Cross.

CARDINAL GRAND CROSS — APRIL 20-23, 2014

Many of you who are fans of either this blog or astrology in general will by now be familiar with the Cardinal Grand Cross. It is a particularly nasty-looking planetary pileup, in which Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto will all be butting heads. There is a fair amount of panic in some circles going on over this, however in practice, that panic is not terribly useful or helpful. It is already affecting your live and it will explode into a fiery climax April 23 as Mars regresses into the 13th degree of Libra to clash with Uranus, Jupiter, and Pluto which will also be in the 13th degrees of Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn. The very cornerstones of our lives will soon be shaken and blessed by this epic concentration of cardinal power. So what to expect?

Many astrologers are calling this the final end of the Age of Pisces and the true beginning of the Age of Aquarius.

In two words the Cardinal Grand Cross will produce forced evolution for every soul on our planet. Consider it a gateway into the world that must be born. As with human birth there is pain involved but the end result is new life and new hope for the future. The truth is that tragedy, triumph, initiation, and excitement will all be on display on this titanic day. Prepare to enter a high pressure, high magnitude cosmic crossroads!

It is a clarion call for the world to change (Uranus), to expand its horizons (Jupiter), to mobilize its forces (Mars), and to transform its institutions (Pluto).

On the positive side, our world (and our personal lives) will be transformed for the better and we will be well on course for the transition from the age of inquisitions and religious wars into the more rarefied age of tolerance and open-mindedness.

However ... if we make a muddle of things, then things could turn ugly in the form of earthquakes and tidal waves (Uranus), situations being blown out of all proportion (Jupiter), wars and bloodshed (Mars), and social, religious, political and economic catastrophes (Pluto).

In your personal life, this is a good time to make a daring leap of faith. Things will be changing all around you, so you may as well take a chance on seizing a new golden opportunity as it passes your wait. Remember, opportunity knocks but once at the door.

In the midst of all this, on Tuesday April 22, the Moon squares off against the Sun for the Aquarius Third Quarter Moon which in Antinous Moon Magic we call the FORUM MOON. This is the best Lunar Phase of the year for oracles or spell work involving interaction with groups or a public setting. Gathering place. Club. Work place. Any place where numerous people gather. It is also the best moon for rituals focusing on parks, gardens and the outdoors in general, such as working rituals for protecting a back garden or outdoor venue.

And things begin to lighten when Mercury leaves antsy Aries and shifts into the sensual, slow sign of Taurus on April 23. Take the time to welcome it with your arms wide open. In the midst of one of the most intense weeks of 2014, accept this invitation to gently and leisurely express yourself, instead of running around like a screaming banshee (as most other people will be doing).

Everything in our universe has been dialed up to the highest degree of emotional intensity, anger and agitation since mid-month. When Mercury (the planet of talking, thinking, writing and short-distance travel) slows down the pace considerably, you should too — especially in your romantic relationships..

THURSDAY APRIL 24, 2014

On Thursday the dust begins to settle ever so slowly when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD forms positive configurations with Mercury, the Sun and Neptune. Try to find ways to avoid the fray and stay out of the arguments swirling all around you.

FRIDAY APRIL 25, 2014

On Friday interpersonal relationships are bolstered when Venus and Saturn form a string trine aspect even as ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD is in supportive aspects to Jupiter, Saturn and Venus. Amidst all the turmoil around you, show your partner what you think of him and draw up plans for a brighter future.

SATURDAY APRIL 26, 2014

On Saturday your intuition shifts into high gear when Mercury aligns in perfect conjunction with the Sun and also forms a nice sextile with Neptune. This is the best day of the week for making far-reaching decisions.

SUNDAY APRIL 27, 2014

On Sunday you should listen to your gut feeling when the Sun forms a sextile with intuitive Neptune. Especially in matters of compassion and humility, you will find a wellspring of strength.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK:

Another exciting week lies ahead between April 28 and May 4 when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD aligns with the Sun in Taurus for an annular (or partial) Solar Eclipse visible over parts of Australia. In Antinous Moon Magic we call the TAURUS NEW MOON the MARCUS AURELIUS MOON because he was a man of judicious might and justice, a warrior and a poet, a man whose reign was called a Golden Age. The TAURUS NEW MOON highlights Taurean qualities (determined, practical, devoted, grounded, dependable) and 2nd House themes (material security, values, self-worth). On a spiritual/higher plane, the New Moon in Taurus seeks inner peace through stability and contentment .... More details next time ....
